It seems impossible to predict moods at a time like this. We are each responsible for our own moods. It could be hard today to feel optimistic and cheerful, but not impossible. A sense of futility, "What's the use?" could prevail unless we counter it with all the faith and spiritual sustenance we can summon.
Then, if we get control, we may find the financial good fortune I have been hinting at within our grasp, or at least get signals and clues about ways to gain it. This is not only financial but in regard to anything in business or health or material affairs in general. Both the sun and Mercury are moving to a sextile with Jupiter, from Scorpio to Virgo. This is very practical. Some may figure out the best health regimen for themselves, including diet and exercise. Others may study investment or other ways of husbanding their resources and come up with solid plans. The lunar positions today, given above, suggest that one ought not to jump to conclusions about any of this, or implement a totally new scheme, but study it out first, and get used to the water of the improved approach.
The Part of Fortune in the 12th, or final house before the New Moon on Wednesday, suggests today and tomorrow as days of self-restriction or holding back. It will be more comfortable and saner to keep a low profile, or stick with tried and true routines rather than attempt anything radically new. Wednesday will be a day of more confidence and energy, probably, although a |difficult third of the week| begins then. That is not to be feared for those who remain peaceful and assured.
The sextile between Mercury and Jupiter, beginning Sunday the 8th and extending through Tuesday the 17th, exactly ten days by a 7.5 degree orb, has, in my past experience, proved very good for money, jobs, and career. I have gained a lot at such times and opportunities seemed ready to fall to me. I mean when these two planets are sextile, trine, or conjoined in the sky, not in relation to my own birth chart. So you may find yourself ready for some special opportunity in the next nine days.
In the social sphere, let's keep believing in the harmony and beauty of Venus in Libra, her own sign. It should be available to invoke. Her sextile with Saturn could make it a little conventional, or with older or conservative people part of the time, or maybe just old solid friends, but that could be peaceful and nice.
