The effective lunar approaching aspect, though still far off, is a sextile with Saturn, which is not bad but not exciting. Combined with the retrograde Venus, it could signify a time of relaxation plus focus on essentials rather than a search for pleasure. Yet Venus's continuing trine with Uranus is stimulating. Combined with Mercury's trine with Pluto, this could be a salacious interest in others' sex lives, or not. More politely it could be smooth assimilation to the cultural facets we all are familiar with--which include of course sexual symbolism everywhere from popular music to TV shows to movies and on.
Venus's gradual separation (backward) from her square with Saturn while she approaches a (backward) trine with Uranus is a sign that some of the emotional worries we have felt for weeks are receding or melting. That is good news.
More about this and much else when I get to the forecast for August 16-30, which I wanted to do Saturday but has been delayed until Sunday. I hope to post it here sometime then. My excuse for the delay is an astrological potluck on Saturday evening which I attended here in Seattle--much valuable discussion among astrologers. It was interesting that for the first time ever in that group we spent a very long time reviewing the astrological lives of each member of the group. That was how Venus retrograde worked out for us. For you it might be such a reliving of the past, in some ways. A refocusing of your love nature, perhaps. Old loves, new loves--how do they intertwine?
