People are edgy, perhaps worried or upset. One can only be responsible for one's own consciousness, so we can pray and affirm and lift ourselves. That will help others also. Some things which are stressful had best be left to Wednesday; others, in small ways, can be handled without too much drama today.
Wandering in the mountains they discover a clear stream
Cascading over rocks. An elephant walks across it;
He has a castle on his back. A man looks through the
Large end of a telescope at a jewel from the elephant's treasure.
Then the telescope is turned on a boy and girl in
The crowd. The observer smells through the lens scandal,
His nose beneath his skullcap twitching. He
Returns to his dark room, table, compass, scattered papers.
Two bulls fight. Nobody knows why. Angels
Watch. Taking sides, they quibble. When a
Semi-saintly human nears the bulls, unwary,
Two angels warn him with a silent yet heard "Careful."
