~Reluctant Donkeys?~

I can't give this period three stars, even though the < has ended, because of the intensity of the Mars-Uranus-Pluto square. 

Speaking of that: It is at its height now. Let's look at what Reinhold Ebertin says of these aspects.

First, Mars conjunct Uranus: "contradictory personality, irritation, inner turmoil, desire to release inner tension, to stand test of nerves, tendency to suffer accidents and injury, spoiling of plans, danger through machines and modern modes of transportation."

Mars square Pluto: "ruthlessness, brutality, violent acts, being harmed, danger of accidents and injury."

Uranus square Pluto (we have visited this one often): "life crisis, suffering under acts of violence or force majeure, heavy losses, being placed in a serious dilemma, great agitation, involvement in mass catastrophes."

Have we not been seeing too much of all that on the "world stage"? I pity the "actors" on that stage who have been subject to all this, and I pray for them--with a kind of prayer, lying on my bed, which goes deep, as if I were suffering a part of what they suffer. You could say that that experience of mine goes along with another aspect, Saturn square Neptune, which has been with us for weeks, a kind of "taking on" of others' sufferings, either voluntarily and nobly or unconsciously and involuntarily. I would guess some of you readers have been going through that also.

Now, Ebertin's positive interpretation of the above contacts, which is what we can try for:

Mars-Uranus: "intensified creativity, desire for freedom and independence, remaining undaunted, powers of quick decision, surprises."

Mars-Pluto: "demonstration of extraordinary energy and thereby achievement of success, fanatic working zeal."

Uranus-Pluto: "indefatigability, untiring resolve, struggle for reform and innovation, fanatic striving for transformation, strong sense of goals, creation of new conditions of life."

You can see how these all fit together. It is an extraordinary period we are going through. It is lucky that we are in a Bright Hermetic Epoch (until May 4) so we can organize our plans and experiences intelligently despite the intensity of the pressures to which we are subject.

So, despite the ** day, we can get a lot accomplished. After the < ends we could proceed with major plans, perhaps with strong success, because the moon will be trine the sun.

Finally, a major "good" aspect, Mars trine Jupiter, which has a 6-degree orb of March 3 through 16: "joie de vivre, spirit of enterprise, will to action, linking for organization, creativity, desire to bring about positive decisions or transactions, recognition, business success, gifts, settlement of official or juristic affairs, favorable for matters of love and marriage."

Some of that has been evident in my life, and I hope in yours. There is the whip but also the carrot, and I have to admit I feel I'm being treated by the Cosmos as if I were a reluctant donkey. I hope it's not that bad for you . . .
