Daylight Savings Time begins, reflected in the Eastern time above. UT or Universal Time, Greenwich Mean Time, remains the same, in the summer four hours from ET.

I shall leave the above as it was in the Nine Day forecast, except for the new symbol < which I decided to use for the Via Combusta times. It's sort of a V on its side. The Via Combusta, not to be confused with void-of-course, comes once a month for about 2.5 days. More about it tomorrow.

We might feel, today, that we really are at the beginning of a new Bright Hermetic Epoch (March 3 trough May 3). Not everything is perfect, by any means, astrologically, although metaphysicall and spiritually we have to believe always that everything is Perfect--in that it is the best G*d and His cosmos could devise for us (see the writings of Lebniz, which fit in perfectly with astrology for those who have eyes to see). 

The harshness of the square between Uranus and Pluto, with us for past months and for months to come--taking its worst form in the extreme violence of ISIS for example--is accented today by the moon's hard aspects with it and, worse, by Mars joining it. We need to find, individually, strong, good, progressive ways to use this energy which, when angry, is just malevolent. However, Luna also is in a sextile with Jupiter which palliates things. Effort is not absent, but it could and should be effort which makes sense and feels satisfying.

The social side of the day should be good within limits.

If you feel that with all the <, /, and | indications "it's just one damn' thing after another" you have my sympathy. I often feel the same. But I believe the secret of happines is knowing about these factors and then rising above them, because each has its lessons to teach and we can't rise above them fully without learning those lessons. Astrology has a deep mission. 

The < is often felt as a lack of morale, a feeling that things are pointless, so what's the use? We need to hold on to our most solid, lasting, reliable spiritual aspirations in order to keep on keeping on. At these times, the world and events are not as impossible as they seem. 

The aspect before the v-of-c is Luna's trine with Mercury, so a lot of good thinking can pervade the day up until then. This can be poise and balance (Libra) in adjusting all kinds of factors so you feel at home in the world once again (Bright Hermetic Epoch ruled by Mercury).
