Hey guys, I bowed out of writing this one last night. It is late, but I include the data:

I have felt swamped by change and by the need to adjust to it. Using the Dark Hermetic Epoch as an excuse is not wise or manly, so I won't . . . but it has had its effect. 

It is fascinating, and evidence for the truth of astrology, that the Part of Fortune (mathematical point derived from the positions of the sun and moon) was in the 8th house of Death on Wednesday when the "Charlie Hebdo" killings occurred, on Thursday during the manhunt and the taking of the hostages, and on Friday when the episode ended with police raids. I list the P of F in the 8th here as "focus in 8, Regeneration or Others' Resources" usually. Those are two meanings of the 8th house; the other more traditional one is Death. For these three days, deaths were on people's minds to a large degree. As for "Others' Resources" this can mean investments, and the stock market soared upward amazingly on both Wednesday and Thursday; down somewhat on Friday. Of course, this does not happen every month when the P of F is in the 8th. But this time it was dramatic. It could be a loss as well as gain, or some other mental focus on investment, in many cases.

As last week this could be a good Sabbath day because of the lunar void-of-course. Doing easy things which make you feel better is recommended (unless indeed you are an orthodox Jew or other strict Sabbath observer). The minute the moon goes void-of-course in the morning is the exactitude of her trine with the sun (Virgo to Capricorn) and so the hours just before that could be strong, solid hours of good thinking and planning, or of work if you are in the right time zone for that

There is plenty of intensity, with the square between Saturn and Mars-Neptune becoming stronger. "What do I need, what do I really want, and how can I get it in a world of continuous change?" is a Saturn-Neptune question. It can be mournful or sad or just melancholic, thoughtful. How can I relieve suffering, not only mine but others'? is another natural question. Answers emerge at a deep spiritual level. We begin to understand that "sacrifice" is not a bad thing when it ennobles us and benefits others. 

Nice news: Mercury and Venus are moving to a sextile with Uranus. This can be cheery, appreciating the uniqueness in friends. It is a friendship aspect. "You're crazy but I love you!"

Moon in Virgo, void-of-course

What was said yesterday about loving your crazy friends is even stronger today, while Luna trines that conjunction of Mercury and Venus in Aquarius. 

Doing things at home could be fruitful. Money and work matters proceed with relative ease. And a community of free spirits comes alive!
