\Happy Deeper New Year/
I am very appreciative of all of you who came to my aid in this crisis, when I am wondering if it is worth while going on with the daily forecasts. Thank you for your support. You remain a tiny minority of those who read the forecasts, according to the numbers, but without that minority I might have given up long ago. There will probably be forecasts continuing before long. It seems to be in by blood and bones to write them, from the time I was a child and devoured astrology publications. Now it seems appropriate to take a break from the heavenly circuit, at least in consciousness, to go deeper for a while, or to "let go" as a Sabbath or Sabbatical at the end of the year.
As I write I am feeling the special value of the end-of-the-year period. As an astrologer I didn't, originally, believe in "the calendar," as too much of a human invention, based on ancient and Roman ideas and measurements more than on the precise orbit of the earth around the sun. Yet amazing books based on esoteric information released in the late 19th century (the world is always extremely slow to catch up with occult information!) revealed to me that our so-called Roman calendar, now universally used around the world to keep us all in synch, is by no means arbitrary. This method assigns December 30 to the Ace of Hearts, the only day in the year assigned to that card. (The 31st is the Joker.) This is a love card. It is love in a special transcendental sense. What is the love of One? (the Ace). Today I am sensing that. It is not self-love in the lower sense, but a higher Self-love which recognizes oneself as one with all. It is love of the One visualized in whatever spiritual-religious-aspirational form one can manage or is one's tendency or inherited tradition. It is the love of G*d which bases the love of humanity, of the Other, of any loved one, and of oneself. It can always be expanded and enriched!
So I recommend that thought and aspiration to you today, and also on the 31st.
If you can't be at home at midnight on the 31st-1st, because you are out celebrating (I expect to be), you and I can choose an earlier time in the afternoon or evening of the 31st to celebrate the New Year at a spiritual level (because it will be 2015 already somewhere in the world, as India or China or Japan).
Then you will get the double benefit of a spiritual New Year, celebrating for an hour alone with G*d, and a later social New Year with friends or family.
Happy Seventh Day of Christmas! Happy New Year!

P. S. A footnote to the message for Wednesday:
Here are Western Hemisphere times for New Year's in lands East of us:
Jerusalem: 2015 begins at 2:00p PT | 5:00p ET
Rome: 2015 begins at 3:00p PT | 6:00p ET
Pondicherry, India (home of the Sri Aurobindo Ashram and Auroville): 2015 begins at 10:30a PT | 1:30p PT
I may spend some time in meditation before and after the Pondicherry time, but probably spend a whole hour before the Jerusalem time, a "watchnight" New Year's Eve service, in prayer, although it will be in the afternoon in my time zone.
This is partly because Jerusalem has such high significance for both Jews and Christians, but also I felt the astrological conditions would be good at that hour for a deeper and more powerful experience.
So I expect to be in meditation and prayer (with Scriptural and other spiritual reading) from 1 p.m. to after 2 p.m. Pacific Time (4 to after 5 p.m. Eastern Time).
Then I will feel better about going to a "secular" party-style celebration later on.
If anyone chooses to join me, invisibly, you are most welcome!
Any other hour of the day might serve as well if it fits your schedule.
