*Faith plus Shrewdness Obtain Security*

Stresses seem to be easing, as compared with the previous five days. However, the political protests in Egypt, as in Tunisia, and the upheavals in Lebanon, seem linked to the conjunction of the sun with Mars, still increasing and with us over the next couple of weeks, and to the septiles of these two planets with first Uranus and now Jupiter. But the Jupiter septile is more beneficent so could signify reason rather than hysteria taking over in these places struggling toward democracy. (We must wonder, however, if true democracy could ever exist in a place ruled by a religious class which wants to impose its Sharia laws on others. A tyranny of the majority is not a democracy with guaranteed individual rights.)

Romantic leanings could be intense. The world is a wonderful place with intriguing and possibly thrilling people in it. Interplay between the sexes can heal discord and rebuild tottered structures. This could be true even in politics, probably behind the scenes in countries where women are not prominent in the political sphere.

Coordinating thought and action is necessary for healing discord, with attention to the daily circulation of your activities; or if you are one of those who take this day as a Sabbatical then you will want your spiritual interests to remain in a stream of effective aspiration. The circulation of the blood is important while the sun and Mars are together in Aquarius. A balance between rest and activity can be attained.

People with whom you have been communicating about issues of value may lose interest in you, or you in them, when the issues are no longer as critical. Looking toward ancient traditions might be more helpful than leaning on transitory excitement. Perhaps the people of Egypt ought to look toward their country's ancient lineage more than to its later Muslim orientation.

People in power positions are mysterious, hiding things or discussing them secretly. There is much consideration of the character of others. Yet there is an attempt toward concord. People have done what they have done; the question is how they can rise beyond that to kindly interaction. Realistic possibilities are there. Even in a police station or jail there can be hospitality.

Those who have been restrained in various ways by "authorities" are going to have to be patient for a while. They need to realize that cycles of karma are carrying them along with others, both those on their side and those seemingly opposed to them, and ultimately right will prevail. There is a progression of realization and fulfillment which has dark and difficult places on its way, but these are temporary. Sometimes freedom comes later if it is demanded; sooner if it is awaited peaceably. Sadism is always wrong. When encountered, one has to protest, but the protest can be careful and calm rather than frantic. Prayers by those encountering injustice do get a response when faith is persistent.

Overspending on pleasures is a possibility, with the monetary loss not as important as the loss of dignity if you go too far in indulgence. This sounds puritanical but I am trying to be honest and give fair warning. You can be wisely enthusiastic and ecstatic about things of an inner nature which do not require material intoxication. You are training yourself toward emulating values you have observed in others. You may investigate paths toward greater financial security or satisfaction, seeing that no single path is perfect; yet intutiion reveals the best one for you.
