\Stimulating Interests and Satisfactions/

It looks like a stimulating day. This could be on many levels. The septile of Mars and Uranus in effect today was with us on 9/11/01 (and quite a few days since then) and can in fact be violent, when it impacts violent people. Otherwise it is exciting, as in winning a game or a sexual seduction (sorry, that was just a realistic statement not a moral recommendation). The clash of personalities could be thrilling.

Then there are septiles of Venus with both Uranus and Jupiter, which adds to the titillation, tickle or frisson. However, the last of these could evoke spiritual study since Venus is in Sagittarius. All of these trends could mingle. Let's look at a specific time, when the moon squares Venus: 5:47p PT | 8:47p ET | 1:47a(Su) UT. Give this an "orb" of at least two hours in both directions and see what is happening with you at that time of the day. It could be aesthetic, hedonistic, erotic, or just interesting; something "gets you going." There could be elements of repulsion as well as of attraction: a peculiar mixture of both. To get into the spirit of this it would be better not to take yourself or your opinions too seriously. Your ethics, yes, but perhaps your basic ethics needs to make room for situational ethics when considering the actions or attitudes of others, who are dong the best they know how. Much could be revealed to you as an impartial but interested observer.

You persevere past sorrows and difficulties. You are creating your allegiances through experience. Allegiances there must be, but they are pointless when felt as enforced from the outside. In conversation or writing you may meet with those who oppose what you consider right, and do your best to "win" or win them over.

Being hospitable is good, as well as enjoying others' hospitality, perhaps in surprising ways, with older people or in staid conservative settings. Talents are released in such settings because you need to use them to break through the feeling of oppression. You see into personality and character but do not need to state what you see in an offensive way. Humor which is not hurtful or sarcastic is a rare art. Perhaps making fun of both sides of a controversy would accomplish it. (Be careful!)

You may be thinking of things and people at a distance and wanting to be in touch with them for certain benefits or just the enjoyment of it. This could take form in fantasies of travel or moving, or actual travel if you are at a place in your life where that is feasible. The subtleties of life come out in plays and movies in ways we could not have predicted, which is why they are so popular. Even when they depict conflict they help us overcome conflict within ourselves or work through it more wisely.

If feeling somewhat abandoned or aloof, you know that this is temporary because you feel the coming spring in your blood and bones, as heralded by Jupiter's entrance into Aries today. (It will be there until June 4.) This is a symbol of rebirth, and one which is destined to be prolonged because Jupiter will be opposing Saturn again (from the last week of February through April). This is a final stage in a change-over in your life which began in April 2010. It would be well to "get the jump on it" during the Bright Hermetic Epoch lasting until March 18, and then the ensuing two months will be easier on you. In general terms, you might consider where you will be ten years from now, in 2021, what you will be doing, and start to prepare for that inwardly as well as humanly possible.

Meanwhile, today not all is that serious, and you could have happy times amusing yourself as your inner self desires.
