~The Charmed Gem of Reconciliation~

The much-ballyhooed (by me) and long-awaited Bright Hermetic Epoch begins tomorrow, Tuesday. (I could calculate the exact time but that might not be terribly helpful; perhaps I will for tomorrow's forecast.) An astrological friend mentioned how things seem to drag on during the Dark Epoch, as if it were an eternity. Yes, which is another reason more suicides and homicides (I am convinced) occur during that time. People feel that things are never going to get better, never going to change, so they end their lives or someone else's. We all know about the events of the past week and there was, among the famous or infamous, the suicide of Mark Madoff earlier within this epoch. It can be a deeply introspective time, when we view things perhaps in the light of eternity. That is why it is important to remain optimistic.

Technically, today (Monday) is the last day of the Dark Epoch until the next one begins on March 18 (this Bright Epoch happens to be exactly two calendar months). As I have indicated, we are already more or less in the new Epoch because of helpful astrological aspects, so some of your plans have doubtless been straightened out wonderfully, even if not finalized. And today should continue that process.

There is a hard edge to the day which might be called a little sad, or else just realistic; you are harboring plans within yourself and a little worried about them. This includes connections to people, friends and those at a distance, both younger and older. Your anticipations are sanguine but much needs to be worked out. It would be good to make sure you aren't being oversensitive to people or what they may be thinking.

A surplus of what you need is here or on the way. This is true even if there seems chaos or confusion in what is happening with study or career. You are linking together a large number of individuals in your mind. This is community at a spiritual level, a profusion of varying gifts and tendencies which you are trying to bring into some kind of coherence. You are working toward definition and distinct guidelines, and when you work with them all will go better.

There is impatience in people close to you which you may not be aware of; it makes them antsy, or overeager, or angry when their least hopes are delayed. They feel they are at a decisive point in shaping themselves to the image they wish to become. That is true, as it is for you also. When is personal definition egoism, and when is it correct self-assertion ultimately useful to all as well as oneself? One answer is that the former is more likely when people are younger, the latter when they mature. Yet the two are likely to mingle in all ages, which is a way of saying that human beings are transitional beings working out their spiritual destinies through more than one lifetime.

Something about your ancestry, father or mother or grandparents, may inspire you toward aspiration and excellence. You remember fondly ancestral glories, almost dream-like, yet substantial to your soul, romantic and uplifting. Things are coming to a head or climax, either through accident or subconscious intent, and you are the master of the future if you ride on rather than under the storm. The scientific and the mystical are blending, within your own consciousness, for the former is common and the latter individual and so they must be blended uniquely in each consciousness. That gives you power beyond the ordinary.

If courage does not fail you, it will be supplemented by angelic or superphysical support and guidance. What you are trying to combine or recombine by experiment is alchemical, enlightening you so that your submission to fate is not weak but a reconciliation of necessary factors only you could reconcile through willing surrender to the inevitable. This may include dealing with enemies, by remaining true to yourself and your deep instincts when they are opposed. Cooperating on something physical is sometimes a cure for contention. Ultimately there can be reconciliation among human beings who misunderstand one another, much as that may seem unlikely at certain points of universal or personal history.
