Forecast for Saturday 29 May 2010

\Room at the Bottom/

The better part of the holiday weekend should be Sunday afternoon-evening and Monday. The |touchy third of the week| ends Sunday at 12:21p PT | 3:21p ET | 7:21p UT.

It’s hard to know what is wrong, but it seems you are melancholy and brooding much of the time. Even the delightful scenes and contacts which should lift your spirits seem bleak.

You can gain dominion over yourself through calm quiet and private intelligent estimation of the factors which make for peaceful living. This includes taking charge of your living space and making it more amenable to your purposes. If out with family or friends you can find the right spot to relax without internal upset, and from there gain control over things.

In fact, being alone may satisfy you more than pointless chatting. When silence descends on a group, they are searching wordlessly for someting deeper. You are pondering hidden mysteries no words can speak. When words do bubble out, they are short, sweet and cogent.

People feel lost and isolated under the aegis of Jupiter’s opposition with Saturn because they are searching deeply for fresh meaning in their lives and not finding it at once. For many it seems that money would be an answer to their problems, but those with plenty of money are suffering the same malaise.

Retiring patience and firmness serve you well because you sense when friendship is otiose or unrewarding to both parties and when it is time to pursue basic interests in your own way.

Fortunately there are times when avid curiosity or a fun-loving disposition evoke enthusiasm in yourself or those around you. This may be a brief “flash in the pan” however.

It is good to beware of sadistic impulses in yourself or anyone. These creep up unconsciously. It’s as if you felt that since you are going through a difficult stage, therefore everyone else ought to as well and if they are enjoying themselves they ought to be “iced” into soberness. You feel that sensitive suffering would be better for them than silly euphoria.

Maybe. And maybe tomorrow will be nicer.
