Those who are in business, or the stock market, might wish today were not a holiday, because the astrological picture is good for business. Perhaps you will be mapping out something you can put in effect tomorrow or soon.

As for the holiday, there is emphasis on calm, cool, collected enjoyment, such as you might have enjoyed Sunday evening.

Things are looking up. The Bright Hermetic Epoch will be more noticeable today and tomorrow than when it began on Friday-Saturday (downer days to a large degree).

Someone simple-minded and easygoing may be a neighbor or houseguest. You find this person inoffensive and placid. He or she chooses the most simple work, or none at all.

A holiday wanderlust may take possession of you. It's fun to seek things in an aimless way, letting chance direct. This could lead to excess and overspending, or take you away from what seems important. Well,it is a holiday.

You sense that it is better to be content with things as they are than to worry, so you hold to the basic faith which has sustained you through the years. Goodness springs from faith more than from doubt.

You may note individuals who seem uncouth even if prosperous and well-bred. That is because they assume themselves to be more significant, perhaps, than they appear in the fair estimation of their peers. They feel they have a right to dominate, or remain aloof and superior in a way which makes you feel uncomfortable. They are probably defending themselves, through their unconscious egoism, from thinking about the life-changes we are all going through while Jupiter and Saturn are opposed. This is a matter of "turning over a new leaf" in some way for most of us.

It is well to protect yourself from accidents, and to avoid putting yourself in danger by doing anything unnecessary, questionable, or lower than your assigned tasks. Sometimes it is better to say "no" to someone in a power position who asks too much of you.

True, you are part of a community, and it is well to work within it in a spirit of patient cooperation. You will know when some assignment is inappropriate or a danger to your well-being. You do not want to be a mere malingerer, either.

But, it is a holiday in the U. S. (where most of the readers reside). You have an excuse to be idle, but not to be spiteful or vicious in your reactions to those who seem to have an edge over you in some regard. People assume sometimes they are more powerful or savvy than they really are. You can trust time to work this out fairly, if you keep your nose in what is most significant to you rather than overstepping your bounds.
