\Establishing Happy, Useful Cooperation/
The first business day of the new year looks to be humming with hope and omens of prosperity. We have Prime Time all day. It is true that we remain in the Dark Hermetic Epoch until February 5, so although things look good they will be slow to develop and it would not be wise to rush them.
When it comes to opinions and the conduct of difficult matters connected with foreign affairs, philosophy, religion, or educational, charitable or spiritual organizations, there could be a feeling that you and others are going backward, or unable to find the current best track for your efforts. Yet a congenial atmosphere enables all to express their attitudes, even if consensus remains elusive.
There is an abundance of material to support you; this may be literal prosperity--gain, or the promise of it. Somehow you realize that mere wealth, without an adult and responsible plan for employing it, is not enough, but could be turned to childish or illusory purposes. Influence with the powerful could be yours, or you are in touch with those endowed with it. So there are potentials for easy climbing toward a position in which you can realize hopes.
You may be aware of those around you who seem to throw their lives away on gambles, or do not take care of themselves seriously except to try for lucky breaks in one way or another. Yet when inspired, they could rise to the occasion of immediate strenuous effort in some project, if it connects with them in the flash of a compelling situation.
Those who take the long view are aspiring toward high possibilities which require self-control and the purity of wise selection in daily living. They know that to bring about magic requires training as a magician. That is not for the weak and self-indulgent.
Yet the moon's trines, increasing in afternoon and evening, suggest that serious projects fit together serendipitously with happy relaxed times. Remarkable bases for cooperation in useful ways could be established.
