The fires in West Maui are said to have been caused by a wind-storm knocking over a power line. There are reports from three different American school districts that an AI program for school buses made some children get home as late as 10 pm, without food or water or rest rooms for long periods. Or, more happily in some cases one might go against public opinion (the wind) because of adherence to strong principles.
