I've reported that the Dark or Slow Hermetic Epoch is with us from August 4 through September 29. It can be good, and yet peculiar. For example, in the last few days one friend has abandoned me, or gone missing, while another who has been stand-offish for months unexpectedly wanted to chat. This could have to do with Venus square Uranus, exact this week, signifying unexpected changes (for good or ill) in friendships. People have to be their unique selves and that requires tolerance.

I usually don't take account of Uranus's symbol in the daily reports, but do in the weekly charts. This week and last it is at the degree symbolized by Borelli-Sepharial as "A king sits upon a throne; behind him stands a figure veiled in black." Unless you have not noticed the news for weeks you must be thinking of Donald Trump. The "veiled figure" wanting to bring him down (the keyword is Collapse) could be Jack Smith the prosecutor, but also the judge appointed who is said to have shown great enmity to Trump in the past and whom he is trying to have recused from the case.

Working with the symbols should be an individual experience and so I ought not over-interpret them but let you find personal applications which fit you and maybe no one else on the planet. Here are the four for today according to the regular formula:

"A giant amusing himself with a child's doll" is reminiscent of the Barbie movie, perhaps, though I have not seen it so can say nothing savvy. The giant has great abilities but "condescends to employ his time and energies in the pursuit of what is childish, whimsical, and worthless, making himself a laughing-stock." We should apply ourselves instead to what could "bring about great and beneficial changes on the earth."

"A naked infant exposed in a dreary place is surrounded by beasts and birds of prey. But by some strange power unseen this embodied picture of innocence is protected." This could be a reminder to pray for, or otherwise try to protect, the children subject to human trafficking at our southern border and elsewhere. On the personal level, despite cruelty leveled against us we "come off, eventually, the victor.." "No weapon formed against him shall prosper." 

"A man felling a tree" is "capable of enduring long and hard work." He or she is "attached to rustic things and the wild habits of the woodland life." He or she "sees good and finds contentment in the rudest work productive of current necessities." A good friend with a soft heart. Keyword: Simplicity.

"An ouija board" dramatizes "effective anticipation or a true rational divination" according to Dr. Jones. We "master life through creative sensitiveness to the illimitable potentials." "Coming events have a myriad of signatures on which one can count." The keyword is Acumen.
