"An arrow in flight" has an uncertain trajectory. It starts out well, in appearance, but all depends on the initial training of the archer and his or her successful aim. "A tiger standing guard over its young litter" is watchful, cautious, and devoted to protecting her or his charges.
"Two swords crossing each other" is not an alien phenomenon to anyone reading or hearing the news. Litigation and quarreling are repellent to the soul but sometimes seem foisted upon us. We are looking for "a shepherd on the mountain top with crook in hand, looking out for the locality of his sheep." Few will think this is Putin, some may think it is Zelensky; as for me, I do not have a clue but we might look to the ever-living Jesus the Christ to inspire ourselves and at least one leader toward being "a leader indeed" through "superior powers and an advantageous position in life." If we believe in the Saviour's power only when things are going well we need a boost to our faith.
"A secret business conference" is all the rage these days, and in an age of expanded information access it is ironic that businesses and governments are seeking iron-curtain secrecy and trying to foist it upon the media and individuals. Is this an opportunity "to monopolize the resources of one's fellows"? All too often. Or, at best, this could be "an inner circle of associates exercising a real control over immediate eventualities" in a positive way, as in ending the Eurasian (threatening to be a world) conflict. Let us pray. Whatever happens externally, "the flow of inspiration" is with us to draw on in "meeting any or all critical issues of everyday living." "Man is himself as he puts his talents and skills to a test, welcoming each challenge to their competency." This is successful ingenuity.
