~Puzzling It Out, Plus Companionship~

Challenge: A cloud hangs over friendship and business, just because both are going through transitions. It is hot in a lot of places, and there are fires, so we have 'Something like a forge beneath the surface of the earth. A number of men are working, almost nude because of the heat.' There are 'mathematical instruments on a table with a sheet of white paper' awaiting our use, as well as 'a room full of machinery and jars of chemicals.' Scientists or would-be scientists and mathematicians are active. Life is a puzzle and only the Ovrmind or Supermind sees all the pieces and how they fit together. We meanwhile with our human minds puzzle it out.
Process: 'Rock formations at the edge of a precipice' reflect the oppositions of Mars with Jupiter (accidents, at worst) and Sol with Saturn (depression leading to unwise motion born of frustration). Initial aplomb and ultimate competency can save us from falling over the edge. When we escape danger we may mount 'a merry-go-round,' trusting in the world's rotations and revolutions as entertaining diversion. We can be receptive to every turn of opportunity and maybe grasp the golden ring (sun and Mars in Leo sign of gold).
Blessing: There could be jealousy and envy, yet success which makes one feel that one has triumphed over those of whom one was jealous or envious. There could be cupidity, cunning, and rivalry, symbolized by a snake coiling around a tree with its head raised. The snake is anciently a creature of wisdom and subtle intelligence. We long for relief from tensions and may find it in the guise of 'a man and woman playing together with fruits, flowers and wine upon a table beside them.' There could be cheerful companionship linked with all kinds of pleasures. Money comes and goes but spending it is accompanied by animal spirits, youthfulness, even love or its semblance..
