We enter a new two-month Bright (Fast, Straightforward) Hermetic Epoch, based on the cycles of Mercury, today at approximately 10:34a PT | 1:34p ET | 5:34p UT, lasting through August until September 6. This is the opposite of the well-known "Mercury Retrograde" period. There are fewer technical errors, glitches, and stumbles. It is easier to keep things in order, make plans and follow good scheduling. "I can do it" is the theme, rather than "I'm thinking about it" during the Dark Epoch (May 15 through July 6).

Challenge: It is interesting that, according to Charubel, 'the letter Q appears" in that Saturn in aQuarius is square Uranus, the ruler of aQuarius, and both in hard aspect with the Venus-Mars conjunction. The Q, he says, is dissatisfaction, skepticism, lack of trust, quibbling, hyercriticism, querulousness, cantankerousness and quarrelsomeness. Well, let's say it is at least questioning, while the moon joins Mercury in Gemini, both square Neptune. Likewise 'a wild boar' resists 'the tricky policies of modern civilisation' and has 'a life of his own, a sphere of his own, and pleasures of his own. He may be considered coarse and impolite but that makes no impression on him.' This again is a very Uranian tendency, upon which planet a T square is focused.
Process: The harsh Mars aspects bring out 'a man like a Hercules or Samson standing over a slain lion.' (Mars is in Leo the lion's sign.) He overcomes his greatest, most terrible enemies. He contends with much, and many dangers, but strength plus softness and gentleness of manner make him a conqueror. This could be you or someone you admire or read about, or an actor portraying a hero. The Neptune squares could bring out gentler activities such as singing in 'a nonvested church choir.' That is common activity or group effort. It might be lucky to participate in something like that. People respect each other while sharing in a sort of communion.
Blessing: 'A man before a square with a manuscript scroll before him' is preparing himself for the Bright Hermetic Epoch (now until September 6) by mapping things out as best he can. The question-posing square aspects we face now could push us to think wisely ahead of the game. Such questing could include profound spiritual teaching as deeper preparation. Then one might be like, or fall under the spell of, 'a man riding a camel with attendants following' who becomes a prominent international figure. He or she is stubborn and could be vindictive when crossed, is fond of parade and self-advertisement. If not yourself this could be someone who catches your attention. Exploring life's possibilities is an adventure.
