Process: The sun's opposition with Saturn is defensive, and one may act like 'a hedgehog' in order to escape public gaze, ridicule or opprobrium. 'I am I, and have the right to remain I.' At the same time one remains faithful to one's family, tradition, background, or heritage, as if one were 'a boy molded in his mother's aspiration for him.' We come into birth and experience in order to fulfill our soul's matrix of development through a creative, self-exacting consciousness.
Blessing: There is a need for utility, with Mars and Venus both in Virgo while the sun opposes Saturn. One can raise one's hand and point one's finger upward as if in command. Flexible, one can fulfill several positions ingeniously or inventively. When possible one could attend 'a festival, or an occasion for villagers assembling together in gala costume.' One adapts oneself to the environment and its denizens, with a taste for shared pleasure, and the promise of friendship plus good fortune.
Challenge: A wolf carries away a lamb, or there seems to be injustice. A Bolshevik propagandist puts his finger on the injustice and claims to represent the lamb, but social and political concepts are battled over constantly. They are leavening the mass consciousness but their advocates may not grasp an immediately fair, honest way of implementing them. 'A pyramid of red on a large open plane' represents strong passions plus strength of will, a never-say-die attitude which faces troubles adamantly.
