Some may seem not to know what they are doing or where they are going, and this could seem tragic. How to people lose control and get lost? Yet we can hope that they will recover and find themselves. Some may find a remedy in the same mysterious degree we had yesterday, of someone in the cavern of a rock, covered by a dark curtain, pursuing mystical studies, acquiring hidden knowledge in solitude.
And again we have the degree of "insanity," of "an indescribable scene: chaos, confusion, and dissolving views." Of course order can be found in, or brought out of, any chaos; and that may be what we are called on to do. We could be like "a man turning his back on his passions and teaching from his experience." He has found the peace of inner understanding, an unshakable serenity which he can share by aiding others to understand the purport of their life-experiences.
It is sometimes not clear whether someone is just amusing himself or doing something which has a value no matter how careless or eccentric it seems. People need to play, or do things at random sometimes, as if in a game with no particular winners, just players who enjoy the play. Yet there is not complete indifference and something valuable is being learned. That can lead to the concord of friendly sharing, as "two women walking together with linked arms, talking confidentially." A social, cordial nature attracts friends of both sexes, plus prosperity arising from such links.
