\New Hermetic Epoch/
Moon in Taurus
(|Karmically serious third|of this week ends very early in the morning)
My life has been hectic, but not terrible. I did feel and experience, deeply, a fresh beginning Saturday morning just when the new Bright Hermetic Epoch began about 9 a.m. PT | noon ET | 5p UT (lasting through February 1). I hope you did too--but then the moon went void-of-course for the day (Saturday) and things may have seemed a little crazy.
It might be better today, Sunday, with the moon in practical Taurus forming good aspects to the outer planets. I have not had time to ponder the new Epoch, astrologically, to write anything definitive about it but here are some clues;
Comparing it with the previous Dark Epoch (October 11--December 6), it is calmer. We should feel less frenzy. Some of that was exampled in the impeachment process, which is now winding down. In your own life you will see something similar. Mars is no longer the high-focus planet and it is no longer opposite Uranus (as it was in the chart for the center of the previous Epoch). The stellium in Capricorn (Jupiter, Mercury, the sun, Saturn and Pluto) is very unusual. We are finding our way in a hard-headed manner, in business, and any opportunities we want to actualize. There is less drama and more common sense.

I have made a study of the symbolic degrees occupied by the planets in the charts for each Epoch and find them meaningful. Let's look at the degrees occupied by the sun and Mercury (they are both at the exactly same position in these charts for the center of eadh Epoch, when Mercury conjoins the sun while going either backward (Dark) or forward (Bright)), using Charubel's symbols:
In the previous Epoch (October 11-December 6): "A serpent with many heads, all in a circle, with fangs protruding." Charubel continues: "Denotes one who may become a pest and a terror to society; unless overruled by benefics, will become a curse to his relations and acquaintances. This is the cursed degree of the so-called cursed sign; yet even this may have its purposes." I think that in afterview you may sense what this meant for you. Not so much any one individual, perhaps, as a sense of enmity (hate Trump, hate Pelosi, and on and on), perhaps in some of your personal relations. Did someone see you as that "serpent with fangs"? Or did you see someone else that way? I worked my way through it with the help of the Psalms and Gospels, but it was often hard.
In the new Epoch (December 7 through February 1), the Sol-Mercury degree's symbol is: "A person ascending a spiral staircase with sunshine at the top, within a dark enclosure." Charubel continues: "Denotes one who has much to do in life for very small returns; he may always appear busy, yet with but little to be seen for his labor; nevertheless, good luck falls to his lot at the end of his days." Since we are dealing with just a two-month period here, "the end of his days" means simply some time during this period. I find that very encouraging.
I hope you do too.
