We need to counter a tendency to pessimism (both luminaries square Saturn). At best there can be admirable, serious work and good (even if slow) results from it.
It helps to maintain the decorative or elegant side of things to keep spirits up, or ritualize activities so they go more serenely.
Inspiration can be strong and one does not need to rely on stimulants to maintain it. Mercury, Neptune and Venus all in Pisces make for successful spiritual realization. Their square with Jupiter brings seemingly conflicting traditions into play so they can be reconciled somehow.
Sepharial gives a beautiful symbol: "A youth, book in hand, wanders through a glade overhung with the branches of surrounding trees. The sunlight is slanting through the trees and falling upon the figure of the student." This can be the passive beauty of nature and of the human form, combined with peaceful contemplation.
The weight of the past is not a drag on the present but enhances it. One is inspired to live according to examples which, though deep in history, are living and potent.
Kindness toward someone one cares about is noble, and could be mutual, "A circle within a circle, both concentric." One guards someone either physically or spiritually and is cherished in return.
