Message for Sunday 7 April 2019, and Longer Perspective (Important, Promising!)

Sunday 7 April 2019, and

\Longer Perspective (Important, Promising!)/

Moon in Taurus

Luna is bringing out two seemingly contrary potentials:  She trines the Saturn-Pluto conjunction in Capricorn, very practical and business-oriented; while she sextiles the Venus-Neptune-Mercury conjunction in Pisces, highly spiritual and transcendental. And so we may be involved with both trends today. The emphasis might go ultimately to the practical. You have dreamy plans, which if fulfilled would be a dream come true, and you may advance toward their fulfillment in subtle  or even dramatic ways. That fulfillment requires tangible activity in the world. The direct rather than convoluted path becomes clearer as we advance to the Bright or Quick Hermetic Epoch (April 16-June 19).

Dark Hermetic Epoch began February 19-->(Mercury retrograde March 5-28)-->DHE ends April 15-->
Bright Hermetic Epoch begins April 16-->(Mercury direct and fast conjoins sun May 21)-->BHE ends June 19

These contrary periods provide a backdrop for everything else. One may feel that one is in a cocoon during the DHE, now near its end, then coming out from it, crippled and crawling, developing wings which can be used to soar in the BHE.

But of course all is not futile during the DHE. If you look over the past two months you will see evidences of spiritual growth in your life, despite the confusions and backtrackings and misunderstandings. Further, material or business progress is not totally impossible then, but has been developing by starts and backslidings, a new start and new backsliding, and so on. Do you not sense that some economic, financial, business, job or professional plan has been gaining clarity for you during the past two months? Yes, there remain doubts, to be cleared up more definitely beginning April 16.

As for "misunderstandings," we have had Venus square Mars since March 2. That has been interpersonal issues in relationships and friendships of a highly charged or even explosive character. Strong attractions are possible, yet they seem precarious or susceptible to fracture on the slightest occasion. If you are in a solid relationship, probably you have dealt with this wisely, merely noting that you have had to face your Other's failings or peculiarities with a little more patience than usual. Or, in some cases, friendships could be "on the rocks" for one reason or another. 'Misunderstanding" is the polite way to put it, or someone may detect faults in you of which you are not aware, and the same the other way around--you know you are right about someone being wrong, but you know you can't make an issue of it without losing them. It can be tough. This aspect winds down, by the ten-degree orb I have tested for decades, by April 8 which is Monday! However, another "difficult" aspect replaces it, the sun square Saturn, with us even now, and continuing until April 20 (when, coincidentally, the sun enters Taurus). This is a test of our persistence, always. Saturn being in Capricorn, it is connected with career or business and is a need to live up to standards others expect of you. You can't ask many favors, but have to give more than you get, or so it seems. Of course the cosmos will repay you eventually but you may have doubts of that during the period itself. It is good for structure, for building something in accord with sound principles you have discovered or learned from someone else.

And so we should be optimistic. You can watch how your dearest hopes and plans develop, or become more attainable, over the month of April. The temporary backslidings need not depress you. They will help you unsnag the final snags in your plans. The sun's trine with Jupiter, highly favorable, is also happening now, beginning Friday as I write, and continuing through the 23rd. After that, Venus sextile Mars begins. If you do your part, the cosmos will do its, and set you up in a happier status by the end of April.

P. S.  Saturday's daily forecast has already been posted. I hope that sometimes, or often, you will re-read the daily forecast at the end of the day or the following day to see what it really meant. Often one cannot know that ahead of time.
