|Karmically serious or challenging third| of this week is with us until early Friday
Yes, Mercury is retrograde, and this may be obvious in your life. Backtracking, redoing things, and so on. However, it is also good for meeting or connecting with old friends and with old memories.
This is specially true this time because during the Mercury retrograde phase (until September 5) we have excellent general aspects among the planets. There is a Grand Trine among Uranus, the sun, and Saturn, for example; also sextiles between Mars-and-the-sun on one side and Jupiter on the other. Mercury is trine Pluto. Venus's trine with Neptune is fading yet effective.We are being blessed. All the hoopla about a tragic incident last Saturday is unfortunately obscuring the good things which are really happening if we would be aware of them. (This is part of the reason I predicted that probably there will be no war in regard to North Korea in August and September.)
I find that people don't want the good things. They want to demonize others, make fun of others, and feel ethically superior to others, rather than recognizing that they themselves have some work to do. And so the "good things" are denied them by the laws of karma and a beneficent God who wishes them the best but cannot give them what they refuse. They refuse His commands: to be just, to be fair, to be kindly and compassionate: and so He cannot give them what the laws of karma are denying them. Tragic.
Wednesday has elements of seriousness and possibly confusion. Yet Luna is sextile Mars and the sun, and later sextile Uranus, and trine Jupiter all day. This is all good so we can rise above and beyond the |karmically serious third| of this week if we try. Goodwill and cheerfulness, faith in G*d and humanity, will be the key.
There will be a slow, gradual approach to what you desire. Sobriety is necessary for this, and innate courage. It is possible to gain popularity by sticking to what keeps you solidly grounded at home and in your work.
An ancient record or old book could hold the key to something essential for you. It opens doors and provides spiritual sustenance.
There are "rituals," as it were , you can perform with someone which lift you beyond yourself into humanity's toils and turmoils. These, because they point beyond themselves, fulfill you remarkably. You and others have fine tastes and indulge freely in luxuries. This could be harmful if excessive but helpful if normal and restrained.
Fidelity to some group tradition gives you strength. The summer shows us how to be ourselves through others. Sexual allurements are possible, and these, if allowed to control, could be dangerous. One must avoid instability and hold stably to one's purposes.
That public character, who gives a blessing to the human race, mentioned yesterday, is still with you. In living out what he reveals to you, you combine gravity and playfulness, music and some kind of military-assertive mission. People need to be both seriously intended toward noble goals, and freely expressive of musical or mystical enjoyments. This can happen today.
