Moon in Capricorn   ***

Bad ideas in the Dark Hermetic Epoch:  Assad of Syria's use of chemical weapons against some of his own people. Kim Jung -un's failed missile test a few days ago. We all need to be more vigilant to protect ourselves from such bad decisions.

Interesting: The founding leader of North Korea, father of its current "supreme leader," was Aries; and the flag and military insignias of the country are all red, color of Aries.

Mercury Retrograde Blues: Trump's refusal to release his tax information could prevent him from getting the tax RE-form he wants. RE-lease rather than RE-fuse while Mercury is RE-trograde, Mr. President!

I have reported how I can sometimes guess a singer's sun-sign by just listening analytically. I did it with Judy Collins (Taurus). A few days ago I did it with Todd Agnew. He is an excellent Christian singer-songwriter (you would be surprised at the sophistication and power of many of his songs, even if you usually don't like Christian music). I have had his works on my playlist for several years, and every time I heard his voice I thought, "Pisces." He has a deep voice and is a large man. Many sun-in-Pisces people (not Pisces-rising people) are large. To me, it is not the sign of little scaly fishes but of dolphins and whales! These, although mammals technically, were called "fishes" in the days that the astrological signs were named.  Further, there is a strong fervor in Todd's soulful songs which sounds Piscean to me, especially because he is for the downtrodden. Pisces is for the underdog. Listen to his song "On a Corner in Memphis" about a "derelict" as a recommended subject of a Sunday School visit (!), for example. So finally, just a couple days ago, I looked up his birth information, and he is indeed Pisces! Born March 15, 1971. Astrology is real and not at all an illusion for those who stick with studying and observing long enough.   On a Corner in Memphis

Could Jupiter be the planet of long life, because it has always been known as the "greater benefic," with Venus being the "lesser"? I ask this because the world's oldest person, Emma Morano, who just passed on in Italy at 117, was born with six planets in Sagittarius, ruled by Jupiter. Then, her successor as oldest known person, Violet Brown, has two planets in Sagittarius and two in Pisces, the other Jupiter-ruled sign (ruled also by Neptune since the latter was discovered). One of the two planets in Sagittarius is Jupiter, in its own sign and so very strong. Yet I would not say that only a strong Jupiter emphasis would show long life. Many other factors could be equally relevant. And non-astrological factors (not only genetics but manner of living and spiritual consciousness) could be paramount.

For Tuesday: It's always more fun to look at smooth and happy aspects, and there are plenty today because Luna is forming both a sextile with Venus and a trine with Mars, accentuating the sextile between these two "lovers." I am not predicting everyone's love life will be hot and randy, but for some that could be the case; for others at least friendliness and concord should reign if one gives them a chance. It could be a good party day, within limits. (The limits have to do with the long-lasting square between Venus and Saturn which requires loyalty and responsibility in all matters, and taking account of others' problems and moods.) Luna's square with Uranus also means that you should take account of the uniqueness of everyone you're dealing with and give them the benefit of the doubt. Uranus is that in people which no one else really gets, so we have to make allowance for it. Trump, have a nice friendly chat with the leaders of China and North Korea. They are chunks of ice but something might melt.

Mercury, although retrograde, is forming a backward but strong trine with Saturn until the middle of May. This suggests that your thinking, though regressing sometimes while reviewing things, could be very accurate, even if it might be better to wait until the second week in May to put things really into motion if they are new plans. In other words, there is wise realism in your attitudes and reactions which could protect you from the worst Mercury-retrograde mistakes, such as impatiently quitting a task or relationship or other loyalty.
