I believe the human race is handling itself very well these days--despite the pockets of stupidity or rage which turn up on the pages of the media because they love to report the unusual and the ugly.

I say that because the set of aspects we are going through is quite intense--The long-lasting T square among Neptune, the sun, and Saturn, which will begin to fade before long, plus the fact of Mercury being retrograde at the same time. That continues until the 22nd, but ---

Do you remember what I said about the period September 10 (Saturday) through October 6? I am reluctant to make "rosy" predictions because there are so many variables, and there are some difficult aspects at all times, and people's karma and dharma are different--but, all things considered, I went out on a limb to say that those 27 days could be a good vacation period, or if that is not in the cards for you, a time to enjoy life more freely when you can. I hope that you will not be disappointed. True, Mercury remains retrograde, and then the rest of the DHE continues even to the end of that favorable period--but that is why I used the word "vacation" because sometimes "out-of-pattern" things are felicitous during the DHE, if the astrological setup permits.

Part of the reason for the rosy prediction is the sextile between Mars and Venus, just beginning, and already in evidence in minor ways. Plus the fact that Venus is in her own sign Libra where she, and her specialty--love, affection and pleasure--are strong. 

Then, adding to that, tomorrow, Friday, will be the first day of Jupiter's presence in Libra, which will go on for a year (he spends about a year in each sign). The past year of Jupiter in Virgo has been not necessarily extremely boring but perhaps a little so, because he is ill-at-ease there, according to the ancient astrologers, because Virgo is opposite one of the signs he rules, Pisces. It has been a good year for technique, no? Haven't you been figuring something out, or a few things, in great detail? Maybe diet, maybe exercise programs, maybe something technical, or improving your skill and accuracy along some line, either for your work or a personal project. That is one facility of the sign Virgo. It has been a year for health concerns and meeting them. The employment picture (Virgo is the natural sixth house ruling work) has been consistently improving month by month, for most Americans. 

But Libra is the sign of romance, and so . . . I shall restrain myself and let your imagination soar. At least it is a sign of harmony, of smoother interpersonal relations, and more interesting connections with people. Jupiter there in the coming year could be good for the worlds of fashion, art, and music. 

Thursday: Fixed habits can be wonderful, saving us from confusion. This is specially true during a |difficult third of the week|, as today, and the MR period. 

There can be sweet harmony beneath the surface, and sometimes above the surface, while Venus is sextile both Saturn and Mars from her own sign.

There is a strong emphasis on truth and finding it. You are tired of falsehoods--probably not deliberate lies by anyone (unless politicians), but inadequate semi-truths which mislead you until you find the real truth they have been disguising.

We sometimes wonder why we are where we are, or seemingly caught in a difficult situation from which we would love to escape. We become passionate and resentful. Our mind becomes tortuous in order to escape from danger or limitation. 

Then a streak of good fortune hits us, and we feel favorites of destiny, as if carried along by others or the trend of favorable events. There could be an hour of laziness, or deserved pampering if you please. We blow soap-bubbles in the air. Life is enchanting.

Charm and a subtle attractive quality can be found in almost anyone, wherever your work and destiny take you, even on a difficult day such as today (considering some lunar aspects). The habits and schedules which give you a sense of security are waiting for you to lean on and utilize, re-acquiring poise when that becomes essential.
