One might say that this is a day of test. Not in a negative but a positive sense. Something we have each been trying to get in shape is either in shape or not, and today might reveal that. But if a lack is revealed, there is no reason to despair; rather to get on it and fix it. We are in a Bright Hermetic Epoch and our judgment is basically correct about most things. This may be a defining moment, and I hope it will be a promising one for you.
In a way, that prediction goes against traditional astrology, for we have today a very exact and intense Grand Square among Jupiter, Saturn, Mercury and the moon. That would not have been considered fortunate by the ancients. But I see it as a realistic impetus. We know what we know, and we know how to use it. We know its limits and we know its virtues. So we can make no-nonsense choices and move ahead toward our goals. That involves work as well as opportunities of which we can take advantage.
The opposition of Mercury and Jupiter is fascinating because it is exact and also because these two are in Mutual Reception--that is, Mercury is in a sign of Jupiter and Jupiter is in a sign of Mercury. Thinking could be fuzzy (Pisces) but then brought up short to utter clarity (Virgo). We know how to modify the technical details of things (Mercury and Virgo) with intuition of a spiritual or semi-spiritual nature (Jupiter and Pisces). So we do not get lost in pointless details but corral those details into a pattern which feels right and harmonizes with the universal order. Therefore we can make successful choices.
If the emotional tone of things seems bleak sometimes, that is normal during a |difficult third of the week.| We can see beyond such moping, overcome our feelings of doubt or worry and keep on with our realistically chosen program. The realism comes from Saturn, without which the Jupiter-Mercury opposition could be pie in the sky. But Saturn brings it down to a level which has material, substantial instantiation. You probably sense what that is or can be for you.
