Obscurity and confusion lead to contemplation. This can be progressive even if lonely. It might seem morose but could be peace-promoting. 

The Crimean situation vis-a-vis Russia and the Ukraine has its dangers, with the moon in Aries conjoined to Uranus and opposing Mars. Let us hope cool heads prevail. There will be much international outcry which may have little or no effect. 

Personal finances can be handled wisely and responsibly. It is easier than in recent weeks to see where your money goes and how to control it.

The weirdness in the Ukraine is happening just after Mars turned retrograde. Military and government leaders seem not to know what to do or exactly why they are doing it. The square between Venus and Mars is always harsh. Some may find it sexually thrilling but the cost of the thrill is going to be eminent.

When communications are snagged, research and study may be the better approach to life, so that when one finally does communicate one has something worthy of enunciation.

There is kindness and generosity in some quarters even when accompanied by strife or competition. 

It is good not to be careless but to keep up with one's work while the moon accentuates a loose Grand Square. Energy could go in too many directions.

People seem absurd when they get arrogant. Yet they are trying to dramatize something they care deeply about and so one can get the message while one grimaces at its method of delivery.

Prosperity is not absent while the sun trines Jupiter and sextiles Pluto. One feels prosperous enough for a little friendly entertainment. This could be true whether or not the stock market goes up--as I write on Sunday evening investors seem spooked by the Russia-Ukraine standoff. 

Optimism seems to be increasing even if some war drums are beating. Probably the fact that the square between Mars and Venus is separating while Mars goes backward suggests that the crisis will wane while there is more posturing than fighting.

Key players in this and other dramas will walk alone, in the cold and dark, and contemplate the crisis in the hope of preventing dangers while saving face.
