*Magical Mediation*

The Full Moon approaches, and this is always a heightened-consciousness period of the month. What you want you can get through effort or magic. Magic is a particular kind of effort. It is allowed only if one's karma allows it. Karma means, among other things, "work or effort" and so Magic if real is a form of effort. As in technology, the effort seems to be multiplied, so that a little bit leads to an amazing result. Yes, that is magic, but one has to be worthy to be a practitioner of it. What "worthiness" means in a particular case is a function of your own life, past, credits, and horoscope. "Try" is the omnipotent formula.

He persuades her or she persuades him, 

Enunciating truths, fresh lyrics, harmonies.

So much passion! Sublime. A statue veiled

Conceals more than either could grasp in mind.

The documents needed to cinch the deal are backward-

Looking. Their love is harsh, then sweet, then brutish.

The fierceness of a love that hurts might have gone wrong.

She decides to shape her hair; he has cut his; 

As if these quick decisions altered Fate. 

Rather, the battle rages on, to win, to decimate

Loss, to be what some would like to stop. 

They can't. A friend who seems to be lost is not.

The mourning's premature. There's a need to give.

A poet or musician sweetly persuades, kindly

Entices. Adepts are we who mediate,

Who face all tensions within the aura of peace.
