Angular and incisive, sharp as a harrow, he weeds
The errors from his thought. He senses something
Missing in his equipment, a hole in his
Abilities leaking into the void. Yet a ladder toward
Heaven is climbable, a mystic philosophy worth
The attempt. Something silly attracts also,
But cannot mar distinctive peculiar gifts.
Two moons appear above two fishes, or are
They dolphins? They talk. Two scholars speak
Two languages. A fertile garden opens into
Opulent magnitudes, elevated views of headlands
In the sea-vast distance where the seahawks
Soar. A ship conceals and carries commerce
Cosmopolitan, determined captains in command.
Digging into the mind creates dissension for the
Sake of clearer thinking, dropping pointless
Verbiage, stuff of nonsense, colors vain, yet
Leaving and preserving fresh-world seedlings
In the garden with the ultimate sea-vast view.
