\Running the Race/

1  Sometimes we seek popularity and feel that it doesn't last long. This could be apparent because of the sun's square with Saturn, nearing exactitude. Yet we embody something our ancestors (parents and farther back) had attained and feel their presence in our blood. That means that no matter what the uncertainties or mysteries, we have an endowment to rely on.

2  There are indications of country life in the daily chart. For city dwellers this could be a longing for something rustic, or contacts with those from the sticks. For those who live closer to the soil it could be a realization of the recompense this gives them even though country life involves the complexity of hands-on labor. Nature grants ineffable beauty and also the drudgery of daily tasks. At best these are entered into with a feeling that it's all worth while.

3  Self-defense is necessary in one form or another, usually by attending to one's own business and avoiding quarrels. If these come up, it is well to avoid rancor and bitterness because this could exacerbate an emergency situation. It should be possible to reduce your concerns by using your skills to quench dangers before they become unmanageable.

4  Immediately required tasks may be larger than usual, involving more exertion, even hard labor. But completing them will give you a feeling of well-being and peace. Then you enjoy the environment in which you accomplished them. Long shot: You might see horses,  be near them, think about them or see them in a photo or video. They symbolize something noble and proud in you.

5  You may need allies to prevent any problem arising from someone's dissatisfaction with you. You feel cautious because you want to rely on yourself and avoid anyone who would waste your time. Therefore the allies have to be those utterly dependable and non-problem-making as proved in past experience. Available, beckoning inspiration helps you make such choices.

6  People may seem gruff sometimes but that does not mean they are inimical to you, just focused on "reality" in the sense of stuff they have to get done. There can be hurry, as if running a race. What sustains you through all this is perseverance with a sense that you are linked to something higher toward which you aspire while it inspires you to do your best.

\Quiet Calm Definition Grants Hope/
1  You may wonder at some of the incredibly critical, morose, even hateful feelings which arise in you against certain people. The sun's square with Saturn increases worries in everyone, and they are all worrying also that they are not appreciated or that someone wishes them ill. This makes for a prim grim party where everyone's aplomb is nil, or based upon past status clung to for dear life.

2  Sorrow you feel derives from the absence of something or someone. Yet old reliable things and people, at least in memory, remain as a reserve on which to draw. Something which reassured you as a child, maybe connected with grandparents, is an inner resource for you. This is getting stronger while Jupiter, retrograde since October 4, is stationary turning direct. This will help with paper work, details, studies, and complications which have seemed mixed up or insuperable for a few months. Believe it or not, there is fresh prosperity, which you may be appreciating in late afternoon-early evening especially.

3  Yet the Saturn square makes you feel bound or restrained. You have to submit to your destiny to a certain degree, not fretting too much about those who seem opposed to you. It would degenerate your optimistic life-energy if you dwelt too much on something which seems inimical in anyone. That is a good reason for Jesus saying "Bless your enemies." Disappointment clears the way. It disillusions you, that is, removes illusions which were holding you back, so you can proceed without illusions but with solid hope based on Spirit, which is never illusion.

4  Peaceful, contented feelings can be summoned up, sometimes by looking at beautiful scenes in your environment, as a backdrop which facilitates whatever is trying to emanate from within you to make your world better. Any awkwardness, or seeming failure, is only a trial at the beginning, a learning experience.

5  Yes, it seems that someone is always lurking to cast doubt on your plans or hopes. This is hardest to bear when that person is a friend. Yet you survive, and something in you utterly resolute will not succumb to doubts. You sense that you are ahead of some people in some areas. Very true. At the same time, it would help to realize they are ahead of you in other areas, so that you can respect them, thereby calling forth greater respect for yourself (even if they still misunderstand your competence in your special area).

6  Successful ventures arise from definition, that is, your ability to define what you are doing and how. Your methods are working. This is true despite the utter confusion which may seem to reign at moments when you lose your focus or things around you look like they are dissolving into chaos. Then is when you need to remember that you remain a member of a larger community. When you try to fulfill your role in that, the chaos resolves into happier order. This is specially true when you remember reliable principles on which your role is based.
