Things are intense, but as pointed out yesterday, this is probably the best day of the week for decisions, choices, transactions and agreements, insofar as such seem desirable. (Let me point out that if you are in a western time zone, the time given in Monday's forecast, late in the evening, after the moon enters Libra, could be equally desirable.)

Within the intensity, it is important to maintain your affinity with a true teacher who has been solid for you in the past, a guide or guru. He or she will help you enlist your talents in the service of humanity, a group, individuals, or G*d. In doing this you face contrasts among varying generations and life-styles. There are points at which they can work together, especially when they need each other. At times, when nothing seems to work, this is a clue that you can drop one particular effort, take a respite, in order to focus on other things which are working at the present time. This you can do without loss if you retain hope.

There is an erratic tendency to the mind while Mercury opposes Uranus, as if you were ahead of yourself and stumbling . Advanced perceptions are hard to articulate in terms of what can make sense in the practical world. Still, you can see what needs to be done and do it. At times you may feel you don't care about the people you are serving, but still the service is what keeps you going.

The possible arrogance and ruthlessness of the sun squaring Pluto may be encountered in others, or they may think they encounter it in you. This is an amibitious drive toward success. You can do it when your conscience approves and this may be the day to press forward.

The force and energy in the day can have good outlets: the sextile of Mars with the sun assures that. This tempers the need to assert yourself, making it more friendly, aware of the Other's strong points so you can overlook his or her weaknesses or irritating qualities.

Mercury also sextile Mars and joined with the sun suggests you are at a point, in this particular Bright Hermetic Epoch (September 10 through November 4), when you can survey what you are doing and hoping for, and make choices which will be accurate, strong, wise, and productive now and in the future. Your sight is clear if you are patient with yourself and all circumstances so you can perceive what will aid your progress the most.
