\Awakening/
One wonders sometimes if certain people are lonely and miserable because they have subconsciously chosen that. Yet they may be highly intelligent. They make their way through life tethered by others or Fate. Bound by their beliefs, they have little external freedom.
Then things can change, at least for a while, and there is glorious entertainment, the privilege of enjoying someone else's talent and grace. The exhilaration reaches a point at which one feels giddy and able to command, take charge of someone or the scene. There is a sudden ability to rise beyond self-imposed limits and work a kind of magic through surprising interconnections or subtle powers one did not realize one possessed. Voila!
The naivete of all this is childlike, artless, and for a while youthful ideas conquer. Then a sense of values awakens, and there is a weighing of varied alternatives. Judgment becomes conscious and choice imperative. New events are a chance for innovation in approaching them. Life takes on a glamor of freshness and heightened reality. The near-autumn season of discovery is upon us.
