~Internal Strength Leading to Outward Fulfillment~
The |more difficult or touchy or emotionally painful third of the week| is upon us and was with us Wednesday also . . . it snuck up on me. Actually I do not think it is as bad now as it was during the Dark Epoch and so we can deal with it more peacefully. You may have had your issues to deal with in prayer . . . your worries about someone in authority and about your living situation. Today that may seem critical, as well as your job and status, but the good signals outweigh the difficulties and by evening you should feel quite pleased with some things at least. It could be an evening of relief from stress, and welcome pleasures. Friends will enjoy sharing such a time with you. Playtimes are essential to sanity.
You think of someone with filial affection, that is, of the family; your mother, father or other relative who means a lot to you. That is healthy. This is someone who has helped you toward safety from your primitive impulses when you needed that help, so that now you are more mature and have learned some of those parenting lessons even if unconsciously. You can enjoy life, but do not need to cling to some particular thing like a child "bawling" because it has to go home or can't have candy. You may still feel insecurities which are not realistic, that is, not based in reality but in some imagination of danger or loss, so it is well to "screw up your courage" and faith.
If perfection in your studies eludes you, that is perhaps normal, since our minds are imperfect and no two individuals ever see things exactly alike, and no two teachers perceive their subject matter in the same way. Therefore communication also is imperfect and we have to deal with that, although striving toward perfection as we conceive it. Still, there are material gains which you can enjoy and appreciate, and they make possible the leisure for intellectual interests. Investment in or gain from foreign sources is possible. Deep secrets are attainable by one who persists in searching for them, whether in the sciences or in gifts of healing and comfort. Jesus said that He would send the Comforter to those who believe. This is a promise which apparently not everyone can avail himself of, since the right attitude, squared to eternity, does not come naturally to many.
Mature love is a miracle, and you have it. It is being offered to you and it is arising from within you. It has passed the test of the absence of love and the frustration of anger at the loved one. So it is ready to be a foundation of your living. You guard your home from loss by being responsible, and you are establishing a deeper home or community consciousness through your passion for life in all its forms, even when some of them are trying. You are sensitive to what you have lost, including people gone from this world, among them family members, but from secret tears flows renewed strength to be loyal to all who have sustained you in the past.
A more practical and selfish side of you is intent on your own well-being, appropriately enough. You see how to use people for your purposes, but this is not destructive to them if ordinary decency is preserved. Cleverness in relating to people gets its reward, as well as scientific or managerial cleverness. Then you see that you are independent, in a sense, though none is independent from the Supreme One. You tower up to the heights of personal stability because you have, impersonally, understood how to found your life on what is real.
This earns you credit and applause, as well as a happy time this evening in accord with intimations above.
