Message for Weekend of June 17-18, and a Look Ahead

As I write on Friday we're in the |karmically difficult third| of the week, exact this morning as reported yesterday, and I woke up with a disturbing dream. Then a friend informed me that he is feeling seriously ill. I do not feel like writing this report but shall carry on with some observations about the summer ahead.

It's a tough one in some ways. The harsh Mars square Jupiter aspect, said to be harder even than Mars square Saturn, has been with us since late April but disappears now, Saturday. CEO Carter says it can correlate to "extremist tendencies in politics" and that has certainly been true. However, as it vanishes Mars square Uranus turns up, until the second week of July, and that can be intense, with a lack of humility and a scorning of diplomacy. People want their own way at all costs. There is fretfulness, bluntness and irritability (not necessarily violence).

I wish I could say August will be better but then we have oppositions to Saturn and other squares to Uranus. Looking for relief, and a good vacation period, what seems best is:

September 9 until October 20. That is being super-cautious, but the smooth period could go on until November 4 as long as we escape the harshness of Mars starting to oppose Jupiter.

The whole 9/9 - 11/3 period includes Venus in a sextile relation with Mars, which is one of the best aspects not only for romantic potentials but all kinds of erotic or non-erotic friendship.

Of course we can ty to make the best of any period and I shall try to help with that in comments along the way.

As for the Ukraine-Russia war, a truly hideous imbroglio destroying so many lives, it has been intense during the Mars-square-Jupiter period. Perhaps there will be a chance for a cease-fire and negotiations during the 9/9 - 10/20 period. Let us pray that it may come even sooner.
