Message for Weekend of July 1-2, and the current Hermetic Epoch

First, personal: I have been a news junky today (Friday) and am writing this later than usual. No Friday night party for me, it seems.. The news breaking in France, and about Biden, and from the Supreme Court, and much more, is a landslide of stuff which seems to bear the signature of Venus and Mars square Uranus. Division, disagreement, individualism in the extreme, and so on.

It is possible to divide the big "pie in the sky" in many different ways. I do a daily division here five days a week. I believe now in a weekly division, Saturdays through Fridays. But it seems to me that the best larger division may be the Hermetic Epochs based on the cycles of Mercury's motion as related to the sun and the earth.

The current Bright or Quick Hermetic Epoch began on June 1 and lasts through August 3. we are right now at its center, when Mercury joins the sun (or, as the old astrologers put it, Mercury is Cazimi, in the heart of the sun from geocentric perspective). More precisely that will be tonight at 10:05p(F) PT | 1:05a(Sa) ET | 5:05a(Sa) UT.

This is the time when we see clearly and can make good plans. Have you noticed how things have been "coming together" for you in the past couple of weeks? That should continue for the rest of July.

In what remains of this report let's get an overview of the entire Epoch, June 1 through August 3.

Although things clarify, yet nerves can be frazzled, because of the double square of Mars and Venus with Uranus already mentioned. I have found, through old and recent research, that the planetary-zodiacal degree-symbols work brilliantly for these Epochs, throwing light on all that happens within the two-month period. We have one month of this one remaining and have already experienced one month of it. What follows is intended to have relevance for the whole period:

Pluto: "An arrow in flight" is in decline. We are impelled toward distant projects but "the breath of public opinion" may "carry us wide of our mark." This could apply to people you are following in politics. The "arrows" of Trump, DeSantis, Biden, Kennedy and Williamson seem to have uncertain trajectories at this point.  Which one of them is "a shepherd on the mountain top with crook in hand watching out for the locality of his sheep," "a ruler indeed"?

Neptune: Do we have things organized properly in our minds? "A triangle with a round hole in the center" indicates "good and amiable qualities" mixed with "secret notions which, being false, render the good intentions abortive." If we could get a better grip on things we could be ushered into "a fertile garden under the full moon," an ultimacy of high reward.

Uranus: "A white dove over troubled waters" could guide us to utilize wisely what is within our grasp, such as symbolically "a field of rich grass in which stands a tree encircled by a swarm of bees." I take this as homage to my paternal grandfather, a beekeeper. What successful enterprise does it suggest to you?

Saturn: "A man with upraised arms submerged in water" is a direct hit for the tragedy of the "Titan submersible" which was lost during this Epoch. It may suggest to you any other major crisis you have had to face. We can save ourselves from much ill fate by acting like "a practical business person who readily allies himself with the world's ways and who is never short of expedients." He, she, or ourselves might be "cantankerous and not one of the pleasantest companions" even though successful.

Jupiter: presents to us divergent paths: One is "An ox lying on the ground asleep in the sunshine. Upon its back two birds are perched." The keyword for this is Grossness because of idleness and self-indulgence. The other path is represented by "a Red Cross nurse" who manifests "a steadiness of concern for the more extreme needs of others." This Enlistment for service removes "all sense of separateness" and enables us to "become more satisfactorily whatever we wish to be on our own account."

Mars: "A reversed triangle upon a red ground" warns against "the watery element" and possible "suffocation or drowning." Again, the Titan submersible; and all ought to be careful when engaged in water sports, swimming or boating. One might "suffer through the allurements of the other sex" or through general watery instability. Or one might store "the watery element" within oneself, as it were, like "a large camel crossing the desert." There should be total adequacy though effective self-mobilization in the face of difficulties to be overcome.

Sol and Mercury (at same degree): "A large diamond not completely cut" is harboring latent splendors. The world depends on arts and skills to bring out its endowments. Everything at hand contains potentialities to be dramatized. Likewise "a bulbous plant" could be "pushing itself upward from beneath the sod, beginning to unfold to show forth its beauties." One might possess a great amount of soul-force and a strong will.

Venus: "Chickens intoxicated" might show "simulation from elements essentially alien to one's own nature" or else a natural accentuation of possibilities, temporarily exhilarating. A little fun might not hurt the chickens, or ourselves. Many get a better result through meditation. "In the center of a high mountain plateau I see one of the ancient magi performing his matutinal (daily) devotions. The lord of day ascends on the luminous horizon." Any of us can emulate the "magus" in our own home.

Moon: "A house on fire." There are forest fires polluting the air in many places. But more basically this is the fire of zeal. One is enthusiastic, but could be impulsive and headstrong to the point of exhausting "the cruse of one's vital powers." It would be better to channel the zeal into "standing on a platform, with an audience in front," being a lecturer, politician, orator or podcaster. Or one might turn to literature. "A mother with her children on stairs" is the maternal Educator of the planet, whether guiding her family or the children of others. Each has a different capacity and talent to be developed through her influence, suggested by his or her place on the stairway.

A large camel is crossing the desert. She has within her her own resources, a full adequacy. We are capable of "uncompromising persistence and uncomplaining self-expenditure in any course to be followed."

A human face surmounted by a coiled serpent, and a raised hand, show that we have commanding, introspective knowledge of human nature, plus intuition, foresight and diplomacy. (This sounds like the way Putin handled the unavailing Prigozhin rebellion last weekend.) You may "command others through penetrating insight into character" while yet displaying strong sympathies.

Some have a tendency toward detective or police work, though for myself this seems too much of a depressing emphasis on other people's sins. "A spider in the corner of a room intently watches the giddy dance of silly flies as they heedlessly approach the confines of his dominion." Shrewdness in the workings of "law and order" is not my ideal of a congenial occupation. Couldn't this spider be being surveilled by a bigger spider?

I would much prefer "a little village lying in a fertile valley." "One's heart is full of native goodness. One's hand is set to great work in modest ways. Patience, thrift and true humility will bring endeavors to perfection." Like the valley, one's life is fruitful in good things.

I'm glad we have such a symbol because the |difficult third| of this week is at its peak, setting tests to pass by means of mood control and cultivated serenity.

"An untidy, unkempt man" or woman despises the mirror and thinks "I am what I am. Deal with it." One's sensibilities are increased, and one is imperturbable.

"A human face is surmounted by a coiled serpent; a raised hand also appears." A keen understanding of the laws of life unites with knowledge of human nature, strong sympathies, discretion, and foresight. One can command others through penetrating insight into character.

In pre-internet days one might promulgate gossipy information by "pulling at a rope attached to a bell suspended near the top of a high tree." There is joy in sharing news and stories about everyone. This does not have to verge on gossip or defamation of character. Someone may be "ringing the bell" to urge you to a meeting or group event.

Who is "the apple of your eye"? "One large, ripe, nicely tinted apple is suspended from a bough, the only one on the tree." Such singularity enhances the excellency of whatever is admired. Selectivity is helpful, reducing the number of items you are concerned with so that something special can be ripened.

There can be a sort of "lost" feeling while the moon is in Libra and Scorpio, the Burning Way signs. Yet good things can happen. One degree-symbol is "a person holding up a scale in his hand, with even beam" and this suggests someone who "will spontaneously detect a falsehood, or an injustice, or any wrong." There is plenty of such to be detected among current events.

"An untidy, unkempt man" could represent a perverse neglect of self, or just complete self-obsession. One does not give a hang what the world thinks; one is imperturbable. Dr. Jones opines, "Paradoxically enough the bringing of reality to center is a development and sharing of its potentialities."

One might be "the apple of someone's eye." "I see one large, ripe, nicely-tinted apple suspended from a bough. There is but this one on the tree." "This denotes one who will advance from comparative obscurity to a position where there will be no compeer to rival his excellencies." This might also suggest that one is narrowing down one's options to very special and valuable ones, rather than trying to encompass too much.

One could become eminent through association with some person of high rank and merit, as if one were "a crescent moon joined to a shining star." One might travel to distant places, actually or in mind, and shine brilliantly. One becomes distinctive, and one's associations are a major means of one's success.

Yesterday we discussed the |difficult third| of last week as including the abortive rebellion in Russia. Now I hear that the same time period) included the collapse of a bridge in Yellowstone Park (6 a.m. on Saturday) and the dispersal of toxic chemicals from a fallen train. The moon-Saturn |karmic third| of each week constitutes a test, as of Prigozhin, as of Putin, as of U. S. infrastructure. The next such period comes up Thursday late-afternoon through Saturday evening.

We are suffering through both Mars and Venus square Uranus, planet of extreme impatience and self-will (when harshly aspected), the Mars square ending July 14 but the Venus square lasting through August, because Venus turns retrograde soon. That is part of the reason that I have said the second week of September through the second week of October could be a good vacation time.

Tuesday: "A man running in the face of a strong wind, making little headway while his garments fly in tatters behind him" shows that some will "set themselves against public opinion and incur severe criticism or loss thereby." Obstinacy, if not based on real principle, can be foolish.

"An iron gauntlet, a sword, and a scourge lying upon the stump of a tree" indicate a strong personality, but probably tyrannical or bullying. Might alone is not right, if accompanied by injustice and cruelty. Self-assertion needs to be purified.

"A bareback rider" is pursuing personal achievement assiduously and valiantly. Such audacity is linked with uncompromising courage, and perhaps a desire for applause.

It's summer, and the beauties of nature are surrounding us to be our delight. "A man in a green-house is watering some flowering shrubs." Both living things and our own talents are fostered through time, energy and study.

That was one of the rare times I did not list the exact moment that |difficult third of the week| began, but I just calculated it. It was Thursday at 7:45a PT | 10:45a ET | 2:45p UT | 5:45p Russian time. As reported in the weekend forecast, it lasted until Sunday the 25th at 4:17a PT | 7:17a ET | 11:17a UT | 2:17p Russian time. In other words, it covered EXACTLY the period of the very disturbing and dangerous rebellion of the Wagner mercenaries as led by their leader, Prigozhin. During those 2.5 days, determined by a formula I alone discovered almost 50 years ago, the world was on edge. And the crisis ended, with an agreement sending Prigozhin to dwell in Belarus, just before the end of the period, when things often start to calm down.

And so I say once again: Pay attention to these weekly times I always list here as the |Karmic sobering, challenging third| of each week. They are so real you can cut them with a knife. You will find that your doubts, fears, anxieties and illnesses tend to be most acute during these times, just as they were this time for Prigozhin, Putin, and thousands of others. 

I have been trying for half a century to interest other astrologers in this formula, without success. I will explain how it is calculated to anyone who asks. "None so blind as those who design their own blindfolds." 

Monday: The symbols for the day are forbidding. Most of us outside of war zones should take them with a grain of salt. They could be warning against unsuspected mistakes.

"A man running in the face of a strong wind is making little headway. His garments fly in tatters behind him." This can be "foolish pride and obstinacy." You may note this in others close to you or in public figures.

"An execution" is a dire indication, not to be taken literally let us hope, but one might "suffer for what another may have done" according to Charubel. The Wagner Company have been "pardoned" by Russia yet the loss of their power and status might feel like "an execution," for example.

"A carrier pigeon" could save the day. "Life at large serves the special requirements of an individual's intelligence or understanding" says Dr. Jones. "A universal sensitiveness of mind in a sense commands all-knowledge." The pigeon brings Enlightenment.

"A woman clothed in gaudy apparel plays with some jewels in her lap." She may be fortunate in acquiring wealth, yet use it unwisely. She, or you or someone you know, is "good-hearted but foolish and extravagant, sometimes unjust." Yet there is savoir faire, plus intimate knowledge of human nature.

Thank you for bearing with me while, over the weeks and years, I have experimented with the best way to elucidate astrological potentials. I believe in weekly charts, Saturdays through Fridays, and here we go for the coming week. This time we traverse from the slowest planet, Pluto, to the moon which moves more quickly than any other indicator. (If you want to know how the chart is calculated, write me.) We use all three sets of symbols for the degree-area occupied by each planet.

Pluto: An arrow in flight, falling or declining, could represent any or all of the U. S. presidential candidates. They all have dilemmas and problems. A secret business conference christens one or another of them, perhaps for the benefit of some plutocracy, but the public, weary of lies, wants "a ruler indeed, a shepherd watching out for the locality of his sheep." Many of us believe that to be Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Neptune: We should examine our presuppositions, for some of them could stand revision. We could then be like "a serpent standing erect within a circle of fire," overcoming even death itself--then entering a fertile garden under the full moon, ultimate fulfillment.

Uranus: A pair of sheers represents any handicraft. My grandfather was a beekeeper and the hives occupied rich grassland in an orchard; we all have richness through the utility of what we do. When needed, a white dove over troubled waters supplies guidance.

Saturn's symbols remain the same this week as last, and we gave the most disturbing one yesterday, "a man submerged in water" who cannot be saved after making a bad decision. That applied to the "Titanic 5" who lost their lives in an ill-advised adventure. And we have the same warning this week: Don't attempt what is too dangerous, beyond your capacities. Listen to a practical business person, cantankerous but common-sensical. And listen to a girl blowing a bugle summoning you to something noble and courageous.

Jupiter: New moons occur on a very dark sky, and so gloom suffuses us at the very beginning of something good. We can whistle in the dark. (Or, better, pray.) Then a decorated Christmas tree appears out of nowhere, symbolizing everyone's childlike hopes. We walk free as if a portly man among pigeons, ministering to those youthful among whom we are popular.

Mars is at the degree of Sri Aurobindo's birth-sun. He was a bareback rider, audacious enough to claim that the Spirit could infuse and transform our bodies through purna (integral) yoga. His writings appeared in his monthly journal as regularly as the turnings of an undershot water wheel. They, and his later epic poem Savitri, shine like a bright, pale blue star over a clear lake, the receptive human mind.

Sol: An iron gauntlet, sword, and scourge on the stump of a tree represent sell-assertion amounting to bullying. But on a live tree grows a single beautiful, full round apple. One advances toward excellency. Dancing above, on a moonlit night, are two fairies, the ascendancy of soul-companionship beyond the commonplace.

Venus: Sisyphus rolls his stone up a hill only to have it fall back down. One evening he gazes upon a crescent moon joined to a shining star and knows that through divine help he will one day accomplish his task. In the morning he fathoms than the sun is worshipable and joins with Zuni zealots in its praise. 

Mercury: The remnants of a feast betray gross choices and excesses. A mouse finds all this but a cat intervenes; they argue. At night the moon is visible, but only its other, always-unseen side seems interesting. The one who meditates on that darkness becomes a moon-set magician who is not really crazy.

Moon: He ponders a human skull, melancholy but capable of occult penetration. An unusual odor permeates the atmosphere; somewhere there is a broken bottle. Or someone is making unusual creative effort. By daybreak the sun is rising over the sea and a great headland. It and individuals embodying its virtues are lofty and elevated, imbued with feelings of magnanimity and reposeful strength. Looking forward with confidence, their hopes shall not be frustrated.

Is it hard to write these forecasts? No kidding. After years of struggle and research I have arrived at a daily formula for the degree-symbols and they are meaningful if one takes time to ponder them, especially at the end of the day when one knows what one actually experienced.

As for a weekly forecast, I believe it is possible but it has been harder to work out. TMI, too much information, with 30 degree-symbols for the weekly chart in the three different formulations I have found to be valid.

I have noted that the Borelli-Sepharial symbols seem to hit really harsh events with extreme accuracy. That was true on 9/11/2001 and I have given those symbols here. It is true again as I write, when it has been concluded that the "submersible" vehicle housing five explorers of the old Titanic wreckage has been lost, with apparently no survivors. And here is the symbol for Saturn in the weekly chart (and the symbol for the degree it currently occupies as well, Pisces 7-8. (Pisces is the sign of the ocean, ruled by Neptune): "A man with upraised arms submerged in the water, over which a heavy rain is falling. This is the index of one who is liable to suffer many affronts of fortune, due chiefly to his own incompetence and the attempting of things and enterprises that are beyond his powers. Let him study humility ad service of others, and cultivate a proper understanding of his own aptitudes and powers. ^Thus he may escape a sudden and unlooked-for ruin which otherwise must attend him in the boldest venture of his life. He may go into liquidation and become submerged,^ and crying for rescue from his helpless state, there may be found none to weep for him save Heaven, which yet is kind in that it permits this warning. The strong swimmer alone can attempt the deep waters."

That was written in the 1880s. I don't know how it could be more accurate in this case. Of course, Saturn is in that degree for all of us, and we experience it differently. Do you see how it might apply, more mildly than in the case of the Titanic 5, to something you are facing?

Rather than the daily symbols, let's look at some of the others which also apply during this week ending Friday. Have they been working out for you?

"White dove over troubled waters," keyword Guidance. This may have enabled you to escape the fate depicted in the previous symbol even if it came close to you.

"An arrow in flight, but declining." This seems to be the trajectories of all the U.S. presidential candidates. All of them have their peculiar dilemmas and none seems clearly to be on the rise.

"An old man poorly clad, raking in a river to collect pieces of wood." No comment.

"A wolf following a sheep along a secluded pathway" signifies seduction or deception or whatever else may be suggested. "One who will form associations with a design of ultimate conquest."

"A large archaic volume" provides the spiritual background one can rely upon for correction and guidance. What is archaic may be more strengthening than something current but superficial.

"A secret business conference" sounds like plutocracy of a manipulative and selfish nature but could be Opportunity for philanthropy lifting all boats.

"Bathing beauties" display their personal assets charmingly. Oh, but the Wolf may be interested in them.

Or they could find congenial companionship at "a houseboat party."

The Summer Solstice, termed the beginning of summer (Wednesday the 21st at 7:59a PT | 10:59a ET | 2:59p UT) is actually the longest day of the year, though the following months July and August be the hottest in our northern hemisphere.

The planetary degree-symbols for Thursday include "A man in a green-house with a watering-can, watering flowering shrubs." 'Tis the season for gardening. Nature's beauties can be fostered by those who devote time and energy to such a happy outcome.

As for the animal kingdom, "A ram stands upon a barren rock, pawing the ground." Some humans are headstrong and rash, given to impulse, difficult to restrain, yet generous and warm-hearted as friends. One does not have to be wealthy in order to be eminent.

"The Sun is rising in his brightness on the horizon, but the rest of the sky is covered with dark clouds and the shades of a lingering night." Some individuals are generous and noble, marked with promise, but seemingly "born out of time and place" so that it is hard to avoid failure in their grand schemes.

However, the orb of day is still shining and "the Zuni sun worshipers" recognize it as the natural force from which they receive life and strength. Being true to a group tradition brings self-fulfillment, for them and for all who "realize illimitable resources in situation and background." The keyword is Fidelity.

As I write on Friday we're in the |karmically difficult third| of the week, exact this morning as reported yesterday, and I woke up with a disturbing dream. Then a friend informed me that he is feeling seriously ill. I do not feel like writing this report but shall carry on with some observations about the summer ahead.

It's a tough one in some ways. The harsh Mars square Jupiter aspect, said to be harder even than Mars square Saturn, has been with us since late April but disappears now, Saturday. CEO Carter says it can correlate to "extremist tendencies in politics" and that has certainly been true. However, as it vanishes Mars square Uranus turns up, until the second week of July, and that can be intense, with a lack of humility and a scorning of diplomacy. People want their own way at all costs. There is fretfulness, bluntness and irritability (not necessarily violence).

I wish I could say August will be better but then we have oppositions to Saturn and other squares to Uranus. Looking for relief, and a good vacation period, what seems best is:

September 9 until October 20. That is being super-cautious, but the smooth period could go on until November 4 as long as we escape the harshness of Mars starting to oppose Jupiter.

The whole 9/9 - 11/3 period includes Venus in a sextile relation with Mars, which is one of the best aspects not only for romantic potentials but all kinds of erotic or non-erotic friendship.

Of course we can ty to make the best of any period and I shall try to help with that in comments along the way.

As for the Ukraine-Russia war, a truly hideous imbroglio destroying so many lives, it has been intense during the Mars-square-Jupiter period. Perhaps there will be a chance for a cease-fire and negotiations during the 9/9 - 10/20 period. Let us pray that it may come even sooner.

Frequently in the past couple weeks I have mentioned that the Venus-Mars conjunction is in a section of the chart having to do with home matters including upkeep and cost. Today I heard from news sources that rents are going up in most sections of the USA.
A keyword for that astrological sector is Establishment or Foundation. How are things developing at your headquarters? I know of both individuals and businesses who are moving now.

As for the harsh stuff, both in US politics and in the Ukraine-Russia war, it has been coincident with the Mars-Jupiter square, touted by major astrologer CEO Carter as the hardest aspect of all, which has been with us since April 29 but shall ease up next week, even beginning tomorrow (Saturday). Meanwhile today, Friday, is the center or peak of the |karmically difficult third| of this week, exact at 8:20a PT | 11:20a ET | 3:20p UT

As for the daily symbols, one is "Sunshine just after a storm" so since it's Friday we may hope for smoother experiences as the day wears on into afternoon and evening. Some happy or fruitful events may take shape as if "a plant of the gourd tribe, arising spontaneously from beneath the soil, its growth taking place visibly." That could be high energy while things seem propelled onward by some magic power. When at leisure on may find oneself in "a spacious room filled with expensive furniture and several mirrors." Of course I have been focused on the political situation. I may write a "Cosmic Piper White Paper on Donald Trump, Part I: Karma" in the next few days. Am I for or against Trump? Yes. Am I against or for Trump? Yes. Am I for and against Trump? Yes. Obviously it is all very complicated. I think he is being persecuted rather than prosecuted. But that does not mean I "support" him on everything, in fact I have some strong disagreement with him on at least one important issue. Despite the turmoil in politics, with both U. S. parties' leading candidates facing intense legal challenges, the symbols for today are quite reassuring.

I've been quite a news junkie. Correlating everything with the solar system's motions is a challenge.

Yesterday I linked the devastation of a Ukrainian dam with the Mars tri-septle Saturn aspect, which began Tuesday when the dam burst or was bombed, and lasts through Sunday this week. I had thought that it was a defect in the dam, but now most commentators think that it was bombed, which makes sense because while Saturn is in Pisces, water, Mars is in Leo, a fire sign.

Now the news is all about the dystopian skies in the Northeast of the U. S. because of forest fires in Canada. Saturn rules an earth sign, Capricorn--particles in the air--and also Aquarius, an air sign, while Mars in a fire sign is self-explanatory, and the fateful aspect between these two is correlating with the dystopian orange skies over New York. Will all that get better by Monday? Maybe, we shall see.

Are you noticing how the daily symbols fit events? Maybe not, because even I do not notice that unless I make an effort. Today (Thursday as I write) the populace and media are all a-flutter about the fires and dark skies, and one of the symbols as reported here in the Thursday report is "A dark cloud passing over a part of the earth is charged with elemental shapes, most hideous and repulsive." Bingo! even materially and literally.

On Monday we heard about the UFO revelations of David Grusch the government whistleblower. They are amazing, including a claim that the government owns and curates actual spacecraft and even the bodies of alien beings! I trust this because Leslie Kean is standing behind it and she is honest and cautious, a superb reporter with whom I have corresponded personally. This came out on Monday-Wednesday, and Michael Schellenberger says that there are a minimum of twelve actual spacecraft in possession of the government. Guess what symbol was in the Wednesday report? "A breast-plate, like that of the Jewish high priest, a square containing twelve small squares." One could be "secretive, reverential, and devotional, a student of the occult, capable of mighty deeds as a magician." UFO magic?

Well, we live in a magical universe.

Friday:

"An empty space" suggests "being open to extraneous influences of any kind." We do not have to be weak.

"A snake coiled around a tree, its head raised ready to strike" is actually favorable, showing "scientific powers and elaborate researches" plus "cupidity and cunning" plus "rivalry and competition" which add up to subtle success.

I was pondering the strange demolishment of a dam in Ukraine Tuesday, in terms of daily charting, and realized that Saturn in Pisces, a water sign, has a lot to do with it. Then I found that a septile (aspect derived from dividing the zodiac into seven pie-pieces) by a 2 degree orb (which is the correct small orb) was active from Monday through this coming Sunday. Reuters says the dam collapsed Tuesday, and its painful after-effects are still going on, though a benefit could be if they slow down the war madness at least for a while. The septile by a small orb is a major aspect, indicating "fatality" or something seeming to be karmic, fateful, or pre-determined. In this case it is between the two "malefic" planets, Mars and Saturn. Whatever is currently most painful or hard to understand in your life may be indicated by this aspect lasting through Sunday. Working with that knowledge could help you to find answers.

Thursday:
A Mercurial degree, said to be ruled by the number 6, is prominent and so your mind could be firing on six cylinders. What strong, helpful answers are you finding?

At worst one might deviate into "black magic," that is, attempts to compel others to do one's will, whether this be for sexual, financial or other advantages. "A dark cloud is charged with elemental shapes, most hideous and repulsive" says Charubel. Yesterday I mentioned that from June 3-7 Jupiter was at the degree symbolized (Charubel) by "Two men rowing in a boat." I saw how that worked out last night when I had some jolly conversations with strangers. However, I also am feeling the Sabian symbol for the same degree, "A widow at an open grave.." This can be a feeling that one or more individuals are gone from one's life. The keyword (by Marc Edmund Jones) is Reorientation. Probably this person or persons shall come back into one's life, in one way or another, but one is not sure. We can rise from disappointment and frustrration.

"A dark, moving column, it stands very high" is yourself if you are a mysterious individual, content to be a stranger who "has a life of his own, content to live and die unknown."

There could be obscurity through irregular wandering. "A wave-line of nebulous light is obscured by a cloud." Perhaps we do not always know what we are doing . . .

. . . unless we have on our breast-plate, like the Jewish high priest, "a square containing twelve small squares." One could be "secretive, reverential, and devotional, a student of the occult, capable of mighty deeds as a magician." This would have to be "white" or selfless magic, devoted to the higher good of others and the world.

A week or more ago, during the DHE (Slow or Dark Hermetic Epoch) Elon Musk hosted, on Twitter, a special live event for Ron DeSantis to launch his candidacy for President. It was a technological disaster. Now, during the early days of a BHE (Quick or Bright Hermetic Epoch) Must is hosting RFK Jr. in an interview. Let's see if it goes better. It is said that Musk was working hard to improve the technology (Mercury). Well, I watched it and it went pretty well, with 66,000 watching at the peak.

People said of President George W. Bush that even though they disagreed with him they would enjoy drinking a beer with him. Many feel the same about Elon Musk. Both are Cancer by sun-sign, a liquid sign and at its best sweet and familial. Bobby Kennedy has the moon in that sign and as people get to know him I think they would welcome him as a dinking buddy.

One symbol for the day is "A man, yet one greater than a man! His mission is a WORLD mission." Some feel that this could be RFK Jr. because of his honesty, integrity, wisdom, legal skill and copious information.

Mars's position and aspects indicate changes in one's home or habitat. These can be ultimately constructive even if temporarily annoying.

Is somebody missing in your life? The square between Venus and Jupiter signifies strong differences of opinion, yet still if both sides are open to it there can be partial reconciliation and reorientation.

"Two men rowing in a boat on a large lake" is one symbol for Jupiter's position from June 3-7, Saturday through Wednesday. I felt this when listening on Twitter to RFK and Elon talking with each other and complimenting each other. Who is the "other" in the boat with you? You are both "fond of company and of changes." You might also be "of a speculative bent of mind and fond of adventure." Differences are stimulating when the "oars" are working harmoniously in an interesting scene.

I hope we shall see a cessation of "old battles constantly re-fought" which has been happening in a big way during the Dark Epoch (April 6-May 31) just ended. Trump battles, Ukraine battles, on and on. Can we please move forward now?

Monday: There can be confusion stemming from the Mercury-Uranus conjunction. We "live our own lives and resent interference" (CEO Carter). Pride, eccentricity, touchiness and conceit may be evident in others or oneself. "A woman holding a bundle of faggots, her hair loose and disordered by the wind, wanders in search of something." There could be "too much learning" or TMI, with consequent vexation or temporary confusion.

What is needed? "A pair of shears." Cut away what is not needed and your life will take better shape. The "faggots" are to be burned rather than burdensome. There need be no anger in this (Mars opposite Pluto and square Jupiter), just cleansing. The "shears" suggest any art or handicraft. Burgeoning energy can be used to create order rather than muddled chaos.

Mars and Venus in Leo suggest "A lion upon an elevation looking toward the rising sun." A pompous tyrant? Not if he or she develops "self-reliance, fearlessness, nobility and freedom of nature." There is a desire for flattery, but at best real dignity.

Venus's square with Jupiter seeks change, adventure and fresh experiences, or variations on old ones. "Early morning dew" is refreshment, or unexpected resources. The principle of Rejuvenation makes us young again (or juvenile again if you please).

Ironically I am finding that although we are in a fresh Bright or Quick Hermetic Epoch, as of June 1, I am feeling "down." Mostly that is probably because of the weekly Moon-Saturn hard aspect, which has been hitting the weekends for months, now moving slowly to earlier in the week. I feel it strongly Friday as I write. It reaches its peak Saturday morning, so hopefully moods shall be happier by Sunday.

The new Epoch however is helping us to plan and organize, even if we don't have a perfect view of things yet, up to August 4. Clarification proceeds.
