Challenge: 'A broken, dilapidated bridge spanning the dry bed of a river' suggests impracticality, and projects collapsing. However, one might be like 'an animal trainer' or 'a boy molded in his mother's aspiration for him,' manifesting resoluteness and exaction in living up to ideals.
Process: Also helping is 'a pyramid of red conspicuous on an open plain' denoting strength of will and energy, together with 'a cross formed of darts, barbed on each arm' indicating positivity and strong will. One will not let anyone impose on oneself, defending oneself through magical abilities. Then one might be like 'a ship in full sail,' roving fancifully and romantically.
