Moon in Taurus
|Karmically serious, sobering, challenging third| of this week continues until Wednesday morning
Challenge: We're in the final day of an Old Moon (the New comes tomorrow afternoon) and this can mean a flagging of energy or enthusiasm. "What's the point?" could be the enervating feeling. 'A stranded vessel on a low, sandy beach' could be temporary arrest of one's affairs. Yet a sand-bank is not an annihilative storm, so one can 'gain a new start in life after each failure.' While obstructed and waiting for rescue or a fresh start, one might ponder immense ambitions. 'A tremendous Corinthian pillar with a large amount of earth, buildings and rocky ramparts resting on it' is something you could be building up through your strength both physical and psychic. A gigantic scheme needs time to develop.
Process: Mercury trine Saturn shows an analytical mind, with sound reasoning. You might figure out something to improve your over-all view of life, your philosophy, and could also focus on finances with solid clear results. The sun trine Pluto could be conservation of gains, or enhancement of them. 'A stile' helps you step over a metaphorical fence, perhaps into 'the garden of the Tuileries,' a place of luxury and 'graceful or exquisite self-expression.' You may or may not have the 'social position and wealth' of a French monarch but at least you can bask in some simulacrum of that, perhaps as welcome escape during the waning moon.
Blessing: If there is doubt about how to spend the hours, 'a finger pointing in an open book' can show the way. The 'racial wisdom' is set forth, whether through a manuscript or otherwise, to quicken insight and also to console you if you suffer from depression during this |difficult third| period. Let's hope you will have some time for 'a troubadour standing with one foot upon a rock, his instrument slung at his side,' perhaps listening to 'a cascade which falls at his feet.' 'A roaming or Bohemian life' permits talents to be displayed casually. There is 'strong imagination and love of the marvelous.' Let's seek out such harmony to comfort us.
