Challenge: The super-sensitive, harsh feelings engendered with the sun conjoined to Uranus, both square Saturn, could take form as ''an iron gauntlet, a sword, and a scourge lying upon the stump of a tree,' that is, some intense self-assertion in the manner of a bully or tyrant. Some think 'might is right' and impose their will unjustly or even cruelly. Others, fortunately, are merely mysterious like the symbol 'a dark, moving column; it stands very high.' This represents 'a very mysterious character. Whilst living among men, a stranger to men. He has a life of his own, a world of his own, content to live and die unknown.'
Process: People are wanting to find their 'place in life,' their profession or project, and may be doing it partly through study , resembling 'a venerable man seated in an uncertain light. ' Like previously mentioned individuals they may 'act from obscure motives,' being solitary and self-reliant yet surrounded by friends who seek them out though they seek none. Yet they might consort with the invisible, like 'two fairies on a moonlit night,' ascending to diaphanous heights of healing fantasy or occult knowledge.
Blessing: The combination of secret knowledge plus a desire to be authoritative or superior could delimit 'a man muffled up with a rakish silk hat.' He feels 'supreme over all possible limitations or embarrassments.' He has a role to be played and uses whatever comes up to accomplish it with aplomb, not accepting dictation from anyone or anything. (Sounds like sun conjunct Uranus.) Such sophistication could annoy some but please many, for he or she is also like 'a butterfly emerging from its chrysalis,' eager for spontaneous self-renewal and flights of fancy or of exploration. We are 'emanating spontaneously from the formless matrix of inner being' while appreciating 'the wonders of a continuing creation.'
