A symbol of strife, "Two arrows crossed," need not be frightening. It really means that we need to be aware of differing opinions as just differing opinions, not really "arrows," and get on with our lives patiently. Laboring in seclusion is not a bad thing to be doing when one feels others do not understand one's hopes and goals.
Strategies can be temporal or spiritual, and both could develop well when one secures a place of vision above the battle. We do not have to see life as a "battle," but it does have elements of competition which seem game-like. One apportions things---schedules, tasks, and fun-time---as if directing a circus, and that is pleasing.
Some seem intense, enthusiastic, and nonchalant, trying more than they can handle, involved in almost too many friendships or affairs. This is a yearning for rapport with all. At best it could have wonderful unplanned results.
What is "servitude"? When perceived as happily serving others, or the world, it is not slavery. All are servants of the One whether they realize it or not. Popularity and approbation can be superficial, based on charm, or deeper, stemming from appreciation of what someone tries hard to do and embody.
