Moon in Scorpio-->Sagittarius
/moon goes void-of-course in Scorpio at 1:54p PT | 4:54p ET | 9:54p UT
until it enters Sagittarius at 6:50p PT | 9:50p ET | 2:50a(Th) UT
Some things happening may be shadowy and obscure. Our minds struggle to understand but faint in the attempt. Then when we awake we may perceive more clearly, yet still as if in a mist. The squares of the sun and Jupiter with Mars and Neptune, the former in Sagittarius an international sign, seem to be showing the complex and confusing trade deals between the U. S. and China, which have sent the stock market spinning high on Monday and then spinning even lower on Tuesday. Neptune is "sticky" in experience, that is, while both sides may try for something favoring them, they are "sticking" to each other and to standardizing routines they cannot "shake."
There are intellectual trends, with Luna joining Mercury, and some of these could be complex, as if one were sitting at a desk covered with books and papers in no discernible order. There is also artistry so one may seek for the romantic and find it nipping at one's heels and then running away. Believing in something may be enough to make it turn up for a while at least.
It is good to be careful of deception, whether the deceiver is consciously deceptive or not. Sometimes those who seem good and honest conceal darker natures which are trying to take advantage or even hurt. (Sad truth I do not like to state, but Charubel's warnings are often worth heeding.) Some try to live common ideals by being forceful, "A sword in a museum," but we might hope that misuse of swords and all weapons might be consigned to a museum and left there. When is warfare good and needed? The question has been asked for centuries and the answer has to remain individual, it would seem, until all outgrow their need for such conflict.
Where, in this chaos of partisan bickering, slandering and deception, can we find one whose "opinions are lofty and elevated, his views wide as the seas, and his stability of purpose equal in all respects to his strength of mind"? (Sepharial's interpretation.) I nominate Sri Aurobindo, who is still alive after his passing from the superficial physical frame of "this world" 68 years ago today and is very much active through his writings and otherwise. "He looks forward to the future with confidence, and his hopes will not be frustrated." "A broken bottle and spilled perfume" suggests the permeating essence of those who have given themselves for the human race..
Intimacies may be as alluring as they are questionable. Imagination fills the stockings on Santa's list, and the pop songs which ask only for someone's undying love at Christmas are hinting at something deeper, the universal yet satisfying love we grow into through celebrations such as the year-end holidays. Living ideals are certified through "the Pyramids and the Sphinx," or something iconic and stabilizing. (For some a Christmas tree will do.)
