Firm control over things is essential when one is doubtful about the outcome. A sense of injustice in some matters could make one indignant but that is just in order to bring about worthy change.
One can enter into unexpected areas or places if need be, but this has its limits. It's generally better to stay with reliable routines, which are not as confining as they seem. Within strict limits the best things develop. Things get intensified within small spaces.
When one weighs values constantly one can make right choices quickly rather than dithering over alternatives while time fritters away. "A boat landing washed away" had fascinating applicability yesterday when a friend and I had to go up and down escalators twice to get a cab because the cabbie had not understood which parking lot he was supposed to meet us in. Something similar could be going on today. So there is patience needed to get another "boat" at a different "landing" if necessary.
One wonders why one has to endure unfruitful labor. The Bhagavad Gita teaches us that the work itself (karma) is the key factor, when offered to the One in His and Her myriad guises, rather than the result of the work, which we can leave to Him and Her rather than pining that it is not what we expected. Whatever happens, the service will have its ultimate reward, and its immediate one in peace of mind.
