~Something More than Luna is Void-of-Course~
NBC News asks, "What triggered the London terrorist attacks?" Hmm, gee, I wonder. Might it be the weather? Or the killers were just in a bad mood? Or might it be the fact that the Muslim religion teaches its adherents in no uncertain terms (in the Koran, Hadiths, and other traditions, and in practice over the centuries) that non-Muslims (Kafirs) have no rights, not even the right to live, and that if they are allowed to live they ought to be the slaves of Muslims, or at the very least forced to pay them tribute?
Gee, I wonder if the fact that the attacks took place largely in or outside bars where non-Muslims were drinking, that it might have to do with the fact that Muslims were the attackers and that their religion forbids drinking, and that therefore they look down with contempt on Kafirs sitting around drinking in bars? And feel that since those sinners are not Muslims, only Kafirs (like most of you readers), and are doing what Allah commanded they should not do, namely, drinking alcohol, that therefore they ought to be killed and that the killers will gain great favors from Above for killing them?
I guess I am the first to think of this! Should I tell NBC News? Perhaps the problem here is---gee, am I not supposed to say this?---the Muslim religion?
How naive are we supposed to be?
But this is an astrological column or blog, not a political or religious one, primarily, so I could also tell NBC News something else:
The attack at the Ariana Grande concert, May 22, the attack on Christians in Egypt, May 26, and the latest London attack, June 3, all took place while Mars was opposing Saturn, from Gemini to Sagittarius, within a five-degree orb.
The aspect lasted, by five degrees, from May 22 through June 4. Those three major attacks all occurred during that time. I am not saying there will be no more attacks in the near future, because by a ten-degree orb, which I consider basic, the aspect goes on through Saturday June 10. Theoretically, it should be less intense. Let us hope so. (Although perhaps we should get beyond hoping, which has not seemed to work, and just consider seriously whether members of a religion which teaches the opposite of the U. S. Constitution and the opposite of our Bill of Rights, namely, that only Muslims have rights, ought to be welcome in our nation?)
Mars opposite Saturn has been considered by astrologers since ancient times to be one of the most difficult aspects, involving as it does the two "malefic" planets (Venus and Jupiter are the two "benefic" ones). Saturn being in Sagittarius brings out the fact that religion is at the basis of the killings, since at its worst Sagittarius can be a "dead-letter religion" sign, that is, can indicate those of a religion which is totally narrow and dogmatic. It also in a broad sense indicates internationalism, so it brings up questions of immigration also.
Enough. I am always amazed that I seem the only astrologer on the planet who notices these things. Or if there are others, they seem very silent.
Wednesday is a mixed bag, as is almost always true, which is why it is a thankless and maybe impossible task to write a daily astrological forecast. That is why I stopped calling them "forecasts" and changed it to "messages." On Wednesday the moon remains in Scorpio until late afternoon, then goes into Sagittarius. Make of that what you wish. You will probably notice nothing, or else you might notice before that that things are a little peculiar since the moon will be void-of-course a few hours. I stopped giving the exact times of these because nobody ever said "Thanks for the void-of-course times, I find them really helpful." After 18 years of doing these reports, no one ever said that. So I guess nobody wants to know when the moon is void-of-course. Okay, I comply with your wishes.
So, it's another day, like most days, with each of us responsible for our own state of mind.

P. S. I see that James Comey is to testify publicly, with TV coverage, on Thursday. It could prove interesting, or not. Anyway, it is fascinating that as I mentioned weeks ago, he is Sagittarius while Trump is Gemini, opposite signs, and that the uproar about the conflict between them happened while Mars in Trump's sign was opposing Saturn in Comey's sign. It remains there (though Mars has moved on into Cancer) and the moon will be in Sagittarius also on Thursday. If you were to review these reports, you would find that not once but multiple times I have said that when the moon is in a particular sign individuals of that sun-sign become either popular or notorious, or come under observation. I have seen the group dynamics of this going on in many groups over the decades. And now it is happening with Comey this week.
