}Looking for Reflection{
The forecast for yesterday, giving a forecast for actually the whole month ahead as denominated "Love-Month," is still applicable although we have the difficulties pointed out above and so it is hard to predict how this day will go--probably old valued friends will be good for you but other individuals problematic.
The dreaded Mercury Retrograde cycle is upon us! Even non-astrologers and skeptics are starting to notice how important this is. Not everything is futile, of course, but things get more complex and "interesting" in helpful and unhelpful ways. Helpful in that new perspectives on old things develop. Unhelpful in that sometimes that is disconcerting so that one loses one's foothold in ordinary daily tasks of maintenance and orientation, or goes a little crazy. We can handle it. You have a heads-up here and if I do say so myself, I believe I have been explaining how to work with these cycles as well as or maybe better than anyone for quite a few years, because I have observed them carefully for several decades. I will say more about this one as it continues. Beware, today, of losing morale. However, that very feeling of futility can lead to spiritual search, which can help enormously. "Man's extremity is God's opportunity" is an applicable motto during these periods. Rather than the perceived futility of one's life leading to suicidal thoughts it can lead to thoughts of G*d and eternity and destiny. Let us pray.
The quatrains which follow are based on the symbolic degrees occupied by the planets each day and could be applicable to the day in question in surprising ways.
A man pumping water for a multitude
Cares about them--and the smiles he gets.
A watching groundhog looks also for his shadow.
There's native reassurance in getting and in giving.
A man with a bow but no arrow
Hears a choir practice in a nearby church.
They sit in casual clothes; he joins them.
He plucks his bow to time; sings happily.
A crowd collects around a man spread upon the ground.
He had seen a gorgeous girl pass by, lost balance,
And fallen from a rock. Could this be the end?
He prayed. With fortified soul he rose, embarrassed.

We may be gradually getting our bearings. First this needs to be done at the inner, psychic, spiritual level.
~Shaman Within~
The rope the shaman holds disappears somewhere
Above but on his end come startling truths.
The man suffering bad marriage became a solitary
Pillar. He beckons to the shaman, who signals "Look above."
The sea gulls soar, watch, dive, and scoop up morsels.
One of them, small and sharp-eyed, waits apart,
Taking only what the ship-hands give him.
The other gulls despise him, but his simple pleasures are enough.
As a child she had seen death, even blood, a murder.
That helped her learn to pray. She effaced herself
And every human ego. Then her sympathies recovered:
Became a call for help and guidance for all souls.
