Mysteriouser and mysteriouser could be the refrain while the sun, moon, Saturn and Mercury dally in Scorpio the sign of mystery. We are drawn to the dark side of things, even to deaths and losses and punishments and mournfulness, with perhaps a touch of sadism or masochism. Of course all that can go seriously wrong, but the trines of these planets with Jupiter on one side and Neptune on the other are beneficent. Most of us will merely encounter the limits of our lives and feel a satisfaction in those limits. A limit means you don't have to try to go beyond it and so can be comforting. "That's the way it is."
Yet the keyword Creativity for Scorpio is also worth noting, especially today. It could be as good a day for displaying oneself in a costume as Halloween itself. You could glory in whatever makes you feel good about yourself, whether appearance, personality, talent, skill or attitude. Children will be feeling their oats and wanting to show off. Life is fascinating indeed when we share ourselves fully, with a wink at our own and others' peculiarities (which are after all what make us interesting to one another).
The richness of autumn coloring in leaves is with us, even if it goes mostly to deep gold or brown. There is subtle fulfillment in this. Something has been completed; another summer accomplished. Small things, irrelevancies which become relevant, are revealing and fascinating. The direct and honest course is also available, and evident if you heed it, which could save you from feeling totally inconsequent.
There is self-defense. It could go too far into paranoia. Keeping an eye on self-protection is normal unless it becomes obsessive beyond reason. A song in the heart is also protection. So is attending to simple things such as yard work, clean-up and the like, and participating in community functions (have you voted if there are elections in your area?).
There is an erotic side to much which occurs. People want to give of themselves. When they see an opportunity, they cannot resist. Yet there is also a sense of justice so that nothing goes too far; a sense of appropriate limits. That desire for justice could go awry if there is anger and grievance turning to an imposition of a severe sense of justice in a wilful manner.
Versatility requires perseverance if it is not to degenerate into aimlessness. When you sense what is right, direct, and honest, you can go ahead and do it, rather than delay and make things worse. That is important in order to keep up with invitations offered by those who happily find something about you they glory in and want to reward.

Complete perspective--were it attainable--would give complete self-confidence. We try. You angle your moves cleverly as if playing chess. Another side of you would prefer to be more spontaneous, chasing whatever interests you for the moment. Ultimately it appears you decide to focus on long-term efforts which yield meaningful discovery.
You rely on yourself for this makes you feel more stable. Withe the focus in Scorpio, your "self" includes others from the past and present who are your "other selves." You do not have to think of them in order to be with them in a subtle way, or to manifest a consensus of those in whom you trust. Then you are regarded well. Admiration of or reverence for someone who has attained sanctity or nobility refines you and promotes your best agenda.
You sense where power lies, and can either "truck to it" or learn how to work around it. You may communicate with someone in a business or governmental hierarchy and see how to adjust to it. Architects or engineers may be involved, whose diagrams and plans are worth considering. Strategies are essentially selfish although if they win one may turn the results to unselfish usages.
Clouds of uncertainty may frustrate while the sun moves closer to Saturn, yet this can help you define purposes more sharply. Long and arduous work, relying on your own insights, lies before you, but it feels like opportunity. When sure of yourself and your plans, you are not worried about power structures within which or around which you have to maneuver.
