Sun in Sagittarius, Administration; Moon in Leo, Glory; Foci in 9, Comprehension and 4, Foundations
|Karmically intense or sobering third| of this week continues (until mid-day Monday)
The guests chat and sip drinks in the brisk
Autumn weather while next door someone's
Raking leaves. A wreath of marigolds and
Red-gold foliage lends some warmth. A harpist's
Melodies emerge from the house with persuasive
Lyrics. A fountain yet not frozen seems more like
A waterfall in its effusion, not quite muting
The singer's vocalizing. On an upper floor
A teen-age girl emerges from her bath
While her friend below desires immersion
In the fountain. It would teach her how to brave
The coming cold. She has been on happy ocean
Voyages cool and warm; on one learned fencing
While the ship seemed listless, boring. She picks up
The marigold wreath to fondle its brave senescence.
Her friend is effete, while she is up for training.
*Peaceable Self-Training*
The "effete" friend might be, today, the square of the sun with Neptune, which can produce lethargy--or spiritual unease which demands some kind of meditative pose or poise in order to get deeper into the soul, and outwardly that can look like laziness. Yet we all need it at times; meditators do it daily, but even they may need longer sessions now. That square can also produce alcohol or drug problems, so over-indulgence has to be warned against.
The Mercury-Saturn conjunction in Scorpio is intense for plumbing to the bottom of problems, or researching and finding solutions to anything intricate or labyrinthine. The moon in Leo trining Uranus in morning and afternoon suggests questing, wandering or prospecting, new friendly scenes or old ones re-experienced.
Many will seem out-of-sorts, yet basically optimistic, needing moral support perhaps.

Sun in Sagittarius, Administration; Moon in Leo, Glory; Foci in 9, Comprehension and 4, Foundations
|Karmically difficult or sobering third| of this week continues
/moon goes void-of-course at 1:00a PT | 4:00a ET | 9:00a UT
His hair has not been cut in weeks; his beard is scraggly.
He looks down on the pavement for coins and sometimes begs.
He's been willing to fight fiercely when insulted.
With paper and pen he sits and draws designs
He maybe could promote with proper contacts.
Two lovers pass by singing, then a convoy with
The flag displayed. A girl with her little white dog
Smiles. He remembers his mountain home where his
Saintly mother gave all she could to strangers
As well as family. He rode a spirited white horse to
Learn the news from village to village and intervened
In pointless quarrels, sometimes harshly, mostly
With artless air of unconcern which won his way.
In the city his path is different, but his simple
Interventions can calm distress. He draws his plans
As if he knew they could be realized some day.
*Finding the Simpler Path*
The "some day" above might be poignant, for the moon's void-of-course period plus the |difficult third| suggest one can only do what one can do for now. That is enough, if motive and aspiration are high.
There is a desire for news, information, and variety. People want to dramatize themselves, not usually harshly, but with deep concern. Simplicity and kindness can emerge out of internal doubt or perplexity. People need patient understanding.
