Despite the |difficult third|, softer tones of the day should come through by afternoon and evening while the moon begins to form a trine with Venus and Pluto (though it also opposes Mercury). Some will be nursing illnesses or inharmonious feelings at home. Others will wonder what their friends are doing or where they are or what their motives are. There is a need for healing at a spiritual level. People will sense how their passions cause them to tumble head over heels into mire.
Reorientation is needed to ease suffering. That which seems lost is rather in abeyance. Those who seem to have blunt wits may be really avoiding all effort. Their stupidity does not make them lazy but their laziness makes them stupid. This of course is hard for anyone to see about himself. Studying things that are hidden is also work, and the reclusive occultist is usually not idle.
The man who works outside hewing logs or building a cabin is also contributing much to the world and himself. He adapts himself to circumstances happily and is admired for his humble industry. Everyone is excellent at something. Meeting the needs of others or nurturing them is always rewarded even if not immediately.
In a contest, no one loses. Those who are eliminated in a tournament have learned something and experienced something and have tales to tell and are richer for all that. There is adventure, change, variety, and companionship even if evanescent. Yet the shady side of the day recurs now and then, the grief over something or someone missing.
Travel could be interesting but unlucky, an unneeded adventure. Mental travel could be better, a search and quest for truth, always uplifting to human beings who are collectively the manomaya purusha, the mental being. The hidden things are not seen by many; but those who see aid and influence the rest. The thinker senses what is going on in friends' or students' lives and how they could improve their performance. The way he adumbrates this usually has to be subtle and indirect.

Anxiety needs to be reduced as best you can. Keeping track of things, clothing or adornment, household items, disposing of those not wanted, could take some time and be rewarded with a feeling of clearance and preparedness. Worry about income need not be burdensome. What you have is stretched. Secrecy and caution are appropriate in some positions. Thereby you gain authority or impress authorities.
You may note people grabbing what they can for themselves, thinking little of the ethics involved or of other persons' well-being. They may succeed yet come to wonder what they have gained. Yet seizing advantages in a game--or contest of the emotions--is thrilling and harmless. "Look what I can do; deal with it!" You may be in a large group where people are mingling as if indistinguishable, until someone pulls something which gets attention.
An erotic trend (Venus with Pluto, both square Uranus) is unsettling, perhaps based on willy-nilly assumptions and then exquisite harassments which either succeed or fail to elicit the desired reaction. You eliminate one object of your attentions after another until there is a clear winner. There could be sadism, let us hope of a harmless sort--mocking, or metaphorical slapping or spanking. People want to feel and know that others feel. If you are yourself a victim of this you may rest content that by responding appropriately you will rise beyond any embarrassment; then all will feel liberated and relieved of some unspoken anxiety.
A fickle trend, people toying with one another carelessly, could be embraced with humor rather than resisted priggishly. Yet there remains a reserved, self-reliant, self-respecting side of you which feels you have authority to call out anyone who gets out of line. You estimate who is scoring well in your personal tally, who sits well with you, and others are doing the same so that choices are made and temporarily convenient loyalties won.
