While I write the whereabouts and destiny of Edward Snowden remain a hot topic. As well they ought to be. The following from Alex Berenson in the New York Times sums up some facets of the case brilliantly (and tragically):  http://www.nytimes.com/2013/06/25/opinion/snowden-through-the-eyes-of-a-spy-novelist.html?hp  Berenson thinks that the White House, NSA, and CIA have turned the idealistic Mr. Snowden into a traitor by refusing to deal with him directly as a human being and offering him some assurance of a fair trial. He repeats the common perception that the four laptops Snowden reputedly has contain secrets the Chinese and Russians would love, and suggests that Snowden was almost forced into betraying these secrets by circumstances and a fumbling U. S. government.

A thought comes to me: What if Snowden, being after all a savvy individual, somehow disposed of those "precious hard drives" before leaving Hong Kong, or even before the Chinese could have gotten their hands on them? Through someone in Wikileaks who now has them in a secret location unknown even to Snowden? Yes, there are all the elements of a spy-suspense novel here.
Going along with the question "Where is Snowden?" is inevitably the question "Where am I?" Physically, you know where you are; temporally, I would say you are in the early phase of a Dark Hermetic Epoch while Venus is moving toward a square with Saturn. This is not an easy place to be. At the mental level, it's a matter of questioning everything and finding all the answers inadequate (poor Edward); at the emotional level, questioning loyalties, lovers, friends, family, and finding none of them what one wishes they would be. Then, on top of that, wondering perhaps what might be wrong with oneself. We have been in such spots before. But let us look at Wednesday:
1  Giving out what you have to give involves assumptions about what is worth giving. This is unique, and it may be what you can give because of some other deficiency in you which has turned you in an unusual direction, making you able to perform a task which benefits people.
2  You could abandon yourself to displays of gaudy self-primping or ostentation. This could be good-hearted even if extravagant. You have a sense of timing--schedule rules!--so you will want to be at the right place at the right time, putting glamor on a feasible agenda which enhances it.
3  Not everything seems right; some decidedly wrong; so you feel you must be an avenger. This could look like malice to someone who does not grasp your motivation. Be careful. There could be rashness and harassment. You see some idols fall, and want to blow others out of your way.
4  Yet there is goodness, there is harmony and sympathy, and a desire for a family or family-like life. You could link with an old friend on reserve or someone you haven't seen for a while. At the same time, a sense of frontier impels you toward fresh scenes in which to be re-established.
5  Your inheritance is with you, what you have acquired by birth, your nationality and ancestry. You may transmit the impression of this to those who associate with you. Some experiences are indestructible. They support you in consciousness. Your background's advantages are available.
6  Out of remorse comes fresh vision (re-vision) and hence internal liberty. You could be wilful and daring, yet want to see a step ahead and be for others whatever will make your path free of uneasiness. You conceal part of what you are. Not everything can be foreseen; so adaptability is a key.

Sun in Cancer, Expansion; Moon in Pisces, Love; Fortuna in 9, Understanding

~Sympathetic yet Bold Possibilities~

The keyword "love" for Pisces has to do only with the "ideal" expression of the sign. I blazon those "ideal" keywords for the moon's position within the signs; the more general keyword for the sun's position (taken from Marc Edmund Jones). "Love" now is a little sub rosa, difficult, "tough love" because of the increasing square of Venus with Saturn. It often puts one together with people one does not "like" on the surface even though one tries to love them. This can be strangers, family or old friends. One's "liking" has been there in the past, perhaps, but is currently diminished because one is aware more of their faults or whatever in them is annoying. So for there to be love there has to be either love without liking (not easy) or a rekindling of liking along with love if that is possible.
1  The super-normal is present or available if one can tune to it. Luna joining Neptune in Pisces forms with him a grand trine with Saturn, Sol and Jupiter. This is not a frequent occurrence. One has transcendental powers of comprehension, brilliant gifts, seership, superior perspective.
2  One might run into bullies. They are eager for what they see as progress for themselves. They think they have a perfect sense of timing and of what others ought to be doing and try to enforce their will through militant measures, compulsion, or cruelty. Your own sense of timing could warn you when to get away from them.
3  Chemistry comes up with the moon and Neptune together in Pisces. Unfortunately, as in chemical warfare, pesticides, or bioengineering, chemistry can be used wantonly for desecration. You might test out absorbing ideas within some other field of science or study. Alchemy is the chemistry of the soul's undercurrents.
4  You can overcome obstacles and procure what you need through harmonious, sympathetic action. Family is in more than one place. You connect with it, or a substitute family, from a distance.
5  You can go where you wish to go, and get supplies you want, plus entertainment, or whatever you would enjoy in a restaurant or club. There is something irresistible about people you meet or one young and attractive who throws away inhibitions. Why not scorn disillusionment?
6  There is inherent dignity in yourself and your activities. You are self-reliant and controlled. So you have influence on anyone you choose, and this is chivalrous if kindly rather than pompous. You might also adapt yourself to one who fits the previous description, so as to bring about almost opposite eventualities among possibles.
