A serious reader wrote and asked if we are now in the Dark Hermetic Epoch. That made me realize that I did not mention it in the Monday report, when it did begin. I had mentioned it quite a few times in the preceding two months, which is why this reader knew it began Monday. Yes, and we will have a lot to say about it, as usual, while we are going through it. "Dark" does not mean negative, any more than night-time is negative, when we enjoy relaxation, TV shows, dreams, and more. But generally one does not start a business or begin a journey after nightfall, and likewise the Dark Hermetic Epoch lasting this time through the rest of June and July until August 3 is not generally a good time for outward progress in major projects. It can be very good for learning, exploring, improvising, and yes dreaming. One can keep up with the essentials of "daytime" projects but ought to leave time for sheer relaxation and the unexpected, that is, shift to a lower gear and be ready to turn onto side streets. It can be good for vacations provided one realizes the possible snarls such as delays, mistakes, and backtracking. One should make it a "dreamy" vacation, not an over-planned one, with plenty of room for flexibility. For Wednesday:
1 Places around the world come into your purview; range of awareness. There is refreshment and rejuvenation through unusual contacts on the street, in person, or through electronic media.
2 You are trying multiple things with your hands, putting things in order, feeling industrious about small things, and this helps overcome any feeling of bankruptcy or loss. A dreamy quality is okay but you want to make sure it doesn't interfere with physical things you need to do.
3 Enigmas and theories fascinate you. Life seems a puzzle to be solved. So you keep at it, without letup. The more you understand the connections among things, the more they settle into place.
4 You know you need to control things or else lose control. This is a challenge to your determination. So you keep at it, and you have to put out of your mind what detractors, including friends, may think, in order to carry on without being hindered by their negative view of some of your activities. You might ponder a large tract of land you either lived on once or would like to live on, and let it support your hope and spiritual insight.
5 Sometimes we feel battered and rejected by those we have loved when it seems they just don't get us. Such abandonment is hard to bear. (Jesus bore it for us, say Christians.) If you can sense that many others suffer in the same way, a refreshing breeze of equality could heal your worry and aloneness.
6 You wonder if some of what you do is impractical, a waste of time; yet have sound judgment, and so can find wealth in the past, in study, what has survived for centuries. (Or you might be lucky enough to know of a teacher such as Sri Aurobindo who combines all the wealth of the past in his instruction.) There is unexpected help.
7 Knowledge and study are prominent. You want to learn everything. This will prepare you for rising to any issue at any moment. Your memory retains more than you realize. Self-training sets you up for countless varieties of success according to your own scale of measurement.

*Righting a Dive, with Friendly Persuasion*
The above indication combined with the moon's presence in Leo, in good aspect with the sun and Jupiter, suggest a happy time especially late afternoon and evening.
1 Selfish, self-centered individuals could wreak havoc. They don't seem to care who gets hurt. Messages you get through normal (cell phone, email) or abnormal (psychic) channels help you steer clear of crises. An enlightened one may walk through the world unscathed and solvent.
2 You can do whatever you need to do to impress anyone, pulling anything from your bag of tricks. If you feel you don't have enough to pay for something, somehow a deal is struck. This need not involve falsehood, just cleverness and alertness.
3 Strong energies are with you, provided they don't go awry and upset someone who could in turn upset you. It is wise to keep remembering your career, your job, so that you hold on to its continuity, or revive it once again. That will not only give you security but momentary protection because it will steer you from something dangerous back to what you are slowly building.
4 Someone parental, or older, or pondering the meaning of life, has a sanction to complete something he or she has begun, and is getting more insight into that. This is the brink of important change. It might lead to a particular plot of land which is fruitful and prospering--a symbol of something similar in the nature and achievement of that individual.
5 Troubled waters do not have to push you to a desert island. You can be alert to any around you who are kind, friendly, gently persuasive, and gain moral support and perhaps more from them. A meeting with someone can be honest and jovial.
6 Benefits come from associating with those who have a large building or headquarters behind them. This is friendly, cultural, uplifting, and has a philanthropic aspect. Bewilderment can be dispelled through exercising good will in a straightforward manner.
7 Gentility, beauty, and intelligence are beaming upon us. However, in order to prevent a crisis, you need to keep reorienting yourself to whatever is crucial while it keeps changing. Whatever is poetic, sublime, or scholarly will bring friendship and good fortune. You could dip, soar and dive like an airplane stuntman, but need to keep your finger on the controls safely.
