\Karmic Tangles Tangling and Untangling/
It's a fateful time. It is not easy. Many will feel "swamped" as a friend said the other day. Too much to take care of, and not a clear path, and what to do first? Patience is usually wise counsel. You can't postpone everything, but you could postpone some things which are less crucial in order to take care of the crucial ones. An easing of burdens
is itself a great benefit, says the I Ching. But my advice comes from
the planetary picture. My main counsel to anyone who is really suffering would be, Don't give up to despair. All this is something working out for the better, but at that point where it seems anything but better.
A rundown of three days: Monday should be aided by Mercury turning direct in late afternoon
, but this does not immediately change things dramatically. Mercury although direct will be very slow, and we will remain in the Dark Hermetic Epoch until December 14th. Then two months of a Bright Epoch when outer things go more smoothly.
So, on Monday, you could handle important business calmly and
carefully, not making any dramatic changes, doing the best you can to
clear up confusions or old problems but not insisting that they get
settled then, because they probably won't. Still, small steps forward are encouraging. Plus, your mental outlook should clear as Mercury turns direct.
On Tuesday, I am sorry to say, things look bleak because the moon will be void-of-course until evening (times above,
this time exactly 24 hours). That, combined with other planetary
indications, suggests it would be wise to slow down, not rush, and
handle the most-routine things you can, which have little danger of
going wrong. It would not be wise to make promises or negotiate to a
conclusion on Tuesday. If you have to discuss something, fine, but you
may lack information or otherwise arrive at decisions which have to be
revised, and that is no fun. Postpone decisions until Wednesday, I
recommend, except for the trivial ones such as which socks to wear, what to have for lunch etc. You may note that others seem not to know what they are doing.
Wednesday is the beginning of the next period, not covered in this
forecast, but you should know that it will be the best of the three days
for gaining clarity and beginning to set many things in order which have been puzzling or upsetting. Not everything will be straightened out but at least you will see the light at the end of that old proverbial tunnel (which we seem to re-enter periodically).
Back to Sunday through Tuesday: You labor in your mind over people you know and
what they are doing. Or not doing. Are they going in circles? You see
their immaturity and what is missing in them. That does not mean you
detest them. But your patience with them is strained. How sad, it seems, human destiny. Can people ever get perspective and control over themselves? (Gurdjieff and Ouspensky throught No, almost never.) Meanwhile because your friendships have been tested, and some come out wanting, you may sense who your true friends are. If they are all invisible, so be it, but there are probably a few visible ones.
Even more ominous things may seem to be going on, when it comes to business, finances, loss, recovery of loss, debts, paying them or delaying them or obliterating them if they are a result of mistaken accounting. Nobody wants to deal with this stuff, yet there it is. I would advise against thinking of a creditor, or someone who thinks he is a creditor, with enmity and anger. That wouldn't help. If you are patient, prayerful, and honest, the tangles will untangle. I hope you will attend to the timing I gave above, perhaps dealing with
some of this on Monday, and postponing the rest until Wednesday (and, looking ahead, Friday).
Disagreements are painful. You see someone as self-centered and incapable of seeing your viewpoint, and he or she sees you likewise. Which viewpoint is supreme? Again, the friendships which survive through these kinds of storms are true ones.
A cheery spot is Venus sextile Mars. Thank Heaven, because
it lends a bit of kindness, romance, chivalry, even in the midst of
difficulties. People want to be kindly and loving, even when they find
it hard to do so.
This comes out in little things, esthetic matters, something you like on your desk or worktable, something you like to wear, maybe music you are organizing to cheer you. This spirit gets into your work, so that you take pride in the handsomeness of an accomplished task. You did it for someone else, for G*d, for yourself, for the joy of doing, and it has its peculiar beauty within the whole.
A prophetic gift could be yours. Let us hope it does not go negative. Seeing disaster for someone is a false form of prophecy,
because the true prophet projects only goodness, except when he has to
offer warnings. You may struggle with how to warn someone, not knowing
how to do it. Perhaps you have done it and been misunderstood. Perhaps
there remains only prayer. And perhaps the best prophecy now is for
yourself, sensing precisely what you can do in the next phase of your life, one day at a time, in order to manifest the power of the Divine in your living effectively and thoroughly.
